CT What is your favorite Leia line or moment?

I think several of Leia's lines in ANH seem a little too hostile and ungrateful but I loved from Empire her sarcastic, frustrated but basically good-natured "Would it help if I got out and pushed?" Also the laser brain line and exchange showed good, justified anger.

 

Let me see. Probably Leia saying, "Someone has to save our skin!"

Or Leia choking Jabba with her strength (physical and Force-related).

But those aren't little. Um...probably her concern for Luke when he's leaving to confront Vader. She often acted like the big sister. That's the way I like to look at it, even though he's a few seconds older.

I always felt that was a rather quick recovery from Tarkin's "no-go" (i.e. touching her) and a tough and unwavering reply to what was an ill-fated attempt of Tarkin to make her beg for her life or something like that.

(apparently Leia had no idea that in the meantime the Imperial Senate had been dissolved, hence her remark about Tarkin taking a responsibility here, he would have to pay for eventually - had the senate still existed and eventually found out what had happened to her)

 

I like the briefing she gives to the fighter escort pilots just before they evacuate Echo Base.

"When you have gotten past the energy shield, proceed directly to the rendezvous point. Any questions? Good luck"

That whole Hoth battle sequence is sublime. So exciting.

 

My very first Star Wars t shirt had her line "Somebody has to save our skins" on it and that take charge moment of hers has stuck with me through all the years. Definitely my favorite.

 

Rereading this thread, it occurs to me that the perfect theme song for Leia would be "I Am Woman".

Because she is Woman. Hear her roar.

 

My favorite part is where she gets stunned by the stormtroopers in the first five minutes of ANH. The way she scrambles and then collapses is so authentic and lifelike.

 

When she uses the Force to find Luke in ESB.

 

When Leia first meets Vader in ANH. I always liked how she stood up to him. I also like the scene on Endor, with Luke. Where Leia realizes Luke is her twin brother.

Some of the comments in this thread reminded me of Leia in this awesome video. RIP, Carrie Fisher.

All of this makes me miss Carrie Fisher more.

I also like how Leia shoots a stormtrooper while wounded in ROTJ. She has a lot of great moments.
