I voted for The Joshua Tree but really love it and all the albums before it about the same. After Joshua, they put out alot of junk.

Doesn't get any better than the Joshua Tree.

Are you kidding? They improved after TJT. Achtung Baby was masterful. Zooropa had some great work as well, and Pop is severely underrated by many. Those three albums are some of the best music you'll ever hear.

Even though I might be beaten to death by Josh (KW) and his broomstick, I voted for "All That You Leave Behind".

    They're a good group :).

this will probably date me but Achtung Baby reminds me of my freshman year in college

that cd was in heavy rotation during that time

close second is Joshua Tree but they became better after that album, IMO

GRRRRRRR! I can only pick one??? I picked "War" I love "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "New Years Day"- I love their raw sound before "Joshua Tree."

Of course, I love their modern stuff too- even "Pop."

Wishes could've voted for all of them.

Other: the Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me single. It's the only U2 song I can stand.

Achtung Baby is my favorite, but I also adore Joshua Tree's With or Without you. That's a classic!

I too had to go with Joshua Tree. Have you ever driven through Las Vegas at night listening to "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For"?

Left out: Under a Blood Red Sky, Wide Awake in America. Live versions of "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "Bad" are better than studio versions.

    Ummm...

The Unforgettable Fire reminds me of my senior year in high school...

Anyhoo, I've been getting really into TJT and ATYCLB lately. (Though I'd still pick AB! as my favorite overall. It's very close though.)

Achtung baby by far. But in their own words the band changed directions with Achtung. They went a little European and less american pop. Joshua tree was their first big American album. But they had others before that. All that you leave behind was in Bonos words Just getting back to simple melodies.

Would someone please vote for October? Even if it isn't really your favorite, it deserves better than zero.
