I just ordered 3 PlayStation games - Spider-Man, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey and Shadow of the Tomb Raider for $190 NZD ($122 USD). That's so cheap.

 

Usual juice and spinach & cheese croissant.

Went to a couple of stores that have older stuff. Got Mayfair Games DC Heroes RPG supplement "Magic" which is from 1992. And The Deadly Hands Of Kung-Fu #29 featuring Iron Fist vs Shang Chi.

 

$20 Parking pass for tonight's Elton John concert at the Nassau Veteran's Memorial Coliseum on Long Island. Yes, I know it's the fourth game of the ALDS tonight (and possibly an elimination game), but I bought the tickets to the concert way back towards the beginning of the Summer.

 

Are those soup dumplings? Regardless, they look very big. Hope they were good.

Hey you know what? It might be your last chance to see Elton John in concert (he has announced that the next three years are his retirement tour, I believe). While Yankees/Red Sox will probably be in the playoffs again in some form next year (or the year after).

 

Nope, not soup dumplings, but BBQ pork buns from one of the best places for dim sum in San Francisco, Yank Sing. I didn't buy them for myself, but for my wife to take to work for her plot luck. Yank Sing, does have the best soup dumplings around but they're very expensive. So, I only have them a couple times a year. I typically have soup dumplings from a self serve place closer to my office. They're not bad.

 

That is sweet. By BBQ pork would that be Char Siu? I am easing back into eating pork filled wontons (I so want to try them in chili oil), so maybe one day I will progress to soup dumplings. I am still dreaming of Chinese spare ribs too.

You're joking, right? Read my lips: $20 parking at the Coliseum for a concert event is AN ABSOLUTE BARGAIN. A few years ago, when the Coliseum was closing for renovation (and the Islanders left for Brooklyn), I went to the Billy Joel Concert to mark the last public event before the venue's closing. How much was parking, you ask? Around $40. It was only when I got the gate that I found out I could get the parking pass in advance and save money.

Thanks! I hope to have some of Yank Sing's soup dumplings again soon, which should be since the weather is changing. The soup dumplings are definitely better when the weather is colder.
