Went to Taco Bell yesterday and bought the three soft tacos meal with a cherry pepsi. I really do have a death wish don't I?

 

chicken noodle soup , I have a cold .

 

Bagels (argh), juice, some egg, fruit and nut platter thing, an extra payment to a med bill, and a replacement subway card because I lost mine last week.

 

Salad, water.

 

Gasoline.

 

K Beauty: more Bat Eye Masks, and these neat bubble exfoliating pads. My skin feels so ridiculously soft after using one.

And the Criterion Night of the Living Dead blu ray set. I am compelled to replace certain George Romero titles lately. I think because what I knew in the 80s and 90s about how astute and smart he was about human nature is really impacting me as I revisit favorites and see more I'd never watched before.

 

Food, scratch off and lotto, some vegetarian magazine, a really great bottled green juice and groceries.

 

Was the vegetarian magazine published at the same premises as a meat magazine? (Lame vegetarian joke, I know. My brother's a strict vegan so I know how it goes).

 

The cost of living:
- Electric & Gas bill
- Water bill
- Garbage bill
- Internet & home phone service

 

I haven't actually bought it yet - maybe we need a thread for that - but I'm sitting here, my finger hovering over the buy button for the ultimate collectors lego millenium falcon. Only problem: it's so big I have no idea where to put it when it's built. But man do I want it.

 

I think this may qualify as a post in the "First World Problems" thread.

BTW, that Lego Falcon is awesome! I'd like to buy it too.

Back to reality: I bought some fuel, a box of sachet lattes and a packet of mints.

 

I am no longer strict. Published I do not know but that would be funny. But Whole Foods !yes, oh horrors! placed it right next regular meat filled magazine and also not far from actual dairy products and such.

Even when I ate pretty strict, I was never extreme around my friends etc.

I need to stop buying salads at Whole Foods. They mean well, but I’ve never had one I liked. Those falafel were bricks...

 

Falafel is good stuff usually though. When I worked in NYC for over seven and a half years I used to go out and pick up a falafel/rice platter at one of the local vendor stands.

 

Indeed...good falafel is great, but some are good mortar to start with only made worse by refrigeration.

I’ll probably get more lotto on the way home as I have break a twenty for change so I can tip the grocery delivery guy tomorrow morning.
