Fun What is your latest purchase?

I rent. I'm not sure what the policy is. Landlord is a super nice guy. I'd like to settle down first and build up more income before I take that step.

 

I'd also be careful if you aren't around during the day with a dog. Former neighbor had a little yappy one that drove me and the other neighbors nuts. She was a driving instructor and worked weird hours. She took the dog with her sometimes but when she didn't and something (postman, for example) got him going he'd yap for hours.

 

A Hot Wheel Monster truck set, and individual one that was not in the set, and a ramp playset to go with it, all for my nephew who turns 4 tomorrow.

 

Groceries and Sunday papers. Got a new basic phone to replace a very old one - supermarket had it.

 

Kitty litter and flea killer. This yo-yo weather has not helped with the fleas clinging to the cats.

 

^ Poor kitties. At least you are a menace to their fleas and not vice versa.

 

Unrated Directors Cut of the original Robocop on blu ray for $1.
A film called Melancholia on DVD for $1. Never seen it, but it sounds intriguing and Kirsten Dunst is cool.

 

$1.50 for air in a cold weather leaky tire.

 

I’d love to get more cats, but with everything going on right now, it is better that we do not adopt.

Food and juice, including the Cold Warrior blend (they must know I am a Winter Soldier fan ), and another $100 toward this hospital bill. Pushing to get that down to $1500 or less by the 24th of this month.

I'm gonna rewatch Robocop soon. Been awhile since I saw it, and never saw this version. Looking forward to it.

I also have a Blu-Ray of the unrated Robocop. The ED-209 boardroom scene is so much better.

 

I’ve seen the unrated version a few times. I agree. Arrow Video are doing something with the original Robocop this year, so I am curious to see what they’re going to release.

Speaking of Robocop, I thought the first arc of Boom’s comic series was the best licensed title they’ve released so far.

Music shop HMV is in administration here in the UK so I stopped in the local branch while in town today. They've got a lot on sale and I came away with the six remastered SW OT and PT soundtracks - 2 for £10. So at £30 basically half price. (Plus I pretty much wiped out the SW soundtrack section with that purchase. Just a few soundtracks from the newer films left there.) Also got a couple of books, magazines, and lunch.
