So over the weekend I used $20 in Khol's Cash towards a $50 Amazon Fire Tablet they were selling online. Got the email it's ready to be picked up at the store; and when I checked the listing it shows the same item is now on sale for $35. I assume they'll credit the difference in the sale price.

 

I wouldn't assume that - you might have to do some 'persuading'.

 

Worst case scenario I'll just return it right there. I get the full money back; and then buy the Tablet online for the sale price.

 

That works if the sale is going on long enough.

 

Well if it lasts through the end of the day today, I should be fine. I was planning on going to the store after work.

 

That's good. Hopefully it won't sell out online before you get to it.

Just a follow-up. Went to the Kohl's customer service after work, gave them the order info, told them about the sale, and they refunded the Tablet and let me buy it with the sale price, using the Kohl's cash I had. Less than $20 for a 7" Tablet, pretty good.

I've got 2 boxes of SW band aids - one has a 3D pic of Jango and the clone army from AOTC on the front. The other has 3D Yoda and Luke from ESB.

A plastic hard case for my 7" Amazon Fire Tablet. It's certainly a sturdy case; just wish the buttons were a little more effective. I have to push down hard to turn the screen on/off and adjust the volume.

 

The thing I cannot figure out @Ahsoka's Tano in regards to our Fire Tablets is the sound on Disney+. It's so low that you have to turn all the way up just to have it at a listenable level. And that is both for my wife and I's Fire Tablet 8 along with our daughter's Fire Tablet 7. The twins got Chromebooks for Christmas and it doesn't have that problem at least I have not noticed.

 

Tbh I didn't get the tablet to watch full TV episodes, much less movies. It's just something to have around the house to use when I'm sitting on the couch watching TV so I can browse the Net or Social Media as opposed to using my phone. Again, I got the thing for less than $20, so I wasn't expecting it to be a life-changer.

 

Mine are the ST and I will use them up as soon as possible.

Food, juice, water and a magazine I should have passed on. Also, tip for the grocery delivery guy who came 90 minutes early. Thank goodness I got home when I did.

 

Hopefully you guys aren't going to purposely cut yourselves just to apply the new band aids on.

 

Band-Aids won't work on lightsaber wounds. More like Bacta-Aids.
