I love the second Doctor. He reminds me of Stan Laurel sometimes lol.

My last purchase was the Doctor Who serial Silver Nemesis on DVD featuring the 7th Doctor, Sylvester McCoy.

Once it arrives it will complete my collection of McCoy's second season on DVD. I've got the blu ray boxset of his third season as well, but no serials from his first season at this point.

Regarding my Doctor Who purchases, I'm focusing on the individual/double serials per DVD for the first two Doctors since it's unlikely they'll have season collection of episodes like they have for the later Doctors due to the missing episodes.

@Dagobahsystem They have filled in some of the missing episodes with either Tele Snaps (like the Web of Fear serial on Britbox) or animated episode or two, or in the case of the Power of the Daleks, the entire serial being animated.

Newspapers and a few groceries at the Co-op this morning. I've been slowly getting the ingredients for my Christmas lunch given the shortages of stuff here in the UK and the store had just restocked the poultry section so I picked up a roasting chicken. It's in the freezer now. Rest of the stuff I either have or will get closer to the day. (Wine, fresh vegetables). Store is a small one so normally doesn't do big birds like turkeys. I had chicken last year and it came out really good.

Star Wars Ronin a Visions novel by Emma Mieko Candon (literally fresh out of the shipping box) and Inhibitor Phase by Alastair Reynolds.

 

That SW book is on my list. If i don't find it in town tomorrow Amazon UK gets the order.

 

I'm definitely considering that book with the SW Visions Ronin as well. Depending on what I think of the sample chapter and reviews here. I really like the ronin so I am hopeful it'll be a fun read.
