SWC What order will you watch Star Wars now?

If I'm feeling a bit crazy I'll watch TLJ between ESB and ROTJ and view it as a fever dream of Luke's.

 

The Phantom Menace, Selected episodes of Clone Wars, Parts of Revenge of the Sith, Solo, Selected episodes of Rebels, Rogue One, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi.

I avoid Attack of the Clones wherever possible. Just don't enjoy it like the others anymore.

I'd also sooner watch either of the Ewok movies than the animated Clone Wars 'movie' *shudders*

 

IV, V, VI, I, II, III, VII, RO, VIII, SOLO, IX

Or one I felt I haven't watched in a while

 

Release order is the only way that feels consistent to me. And odds are I'll never bother to watch the PT again.

 

V, V, V and then V. Then maybe Rogue One.

Watching alone, or with someone already familiar with the franchise: TPM, AOTC, ROTS, Solo, R1, ANH, TESB, ROTJ, TFA, TLJ

 

I tried the Machete order just recently and it was surprisingly emotional for me. Usually I would watch them in release order.

 

I have only been doing chronological recently because that's the only order that makes sense for all the movies anymore. But if you were just watching the saga movies I'd say machete is a fun one, so is release but it's gotten a little too jumpy for my liking

 

I like watching by trilogy really. The only thing I find myself doing differently is watching Rogue One and immediately wanting to watch a New Hope.

SOLO

RO

ANH

TESB

ROTJ

TFA

TLJ

 

Rogue One first!
