I like the music from LOST. How varied is the soundtrack, Andrew??

Nothing wrong with a bit of 80's classics either ;)

Your teacher's band's site is down at the mo JV, but I'll have a look later.

I have two new albums to tell all about. Firstly I managed to get a signed copy of Zero 7's new album, the garden. Amazing stuff and a bit different to their previous two albums, although it still has that classic Zero 7 sound to it. Perhaps not quite as chilled out as their previous work, but I think it's always important to shift into new directions.

Then there's the new Snow Patrol album. WOW, this is a great too. A much more mature sound then their previous albums and some beautiful songs and lyrics on this. A strong contender for album of the year and highly recommended.

Well I've gotta say, the best thing that I've heard today was the sound of 2 week old baby ferrets and that was definetly music to my ears. (IU'll try and get it on here once (I've figured out how to do it)

Awww, I take it that they're not your Ferrets Koren?? ;)

I saw Zero7 lastnight in Brighton, and it was an AMAZING gig!!!!
They put on a very good show and seeing Sia and Jose Gonzales perform live was a real privilege.
Bets gig I've been to yet, nice venue too.

    I don't mind that lordi track, but I wouldn't buy it :p

You wont be disappointed with the Garden, Andrew. Maybe zero7 will do a US tour in the near future, if so you should try and go because they're a great live act. I was worried at first how it would work given their huge electronic sound, but it works brilliantly well :D

Finally got The Garden, came out on Tuesday here - really good one, although not as good as their first one, Simple Things. There are some really great tracks on this one though. Futures and Throw Away are amazing.

I really need to get some more music on mine. At the mo, it's stuffed with podcasts and Dr Who audio plays and episodes from the new series.

Music wise I've got Delta Goodrum (sp!), Tatu, Madonna and all the Adiemus albums. Mega-boring really.

Simple Things is a classic, but for some reason I think the Garden is their best yet! That said, Destiny is still one of my all time fav songs ever.

Caroline, if you want something new and fresh, download the Garden now!!

The new Keane album is great too!! A more moody atmosphere to their first album and it works really well. The fourth track is may fav!

    You wimp, Raj :p ;)

Any Aphex Twin fans here?? I've acquired some of his tracks and they're astounding. A real pionner of electronic music but probably not that well known. I recall he was the one that indirectly influenced Thom Yorke to go all electronic with Radiohead's OK Computer and Kid-A, and you can certainly hear where the influence for those albums came from. Brilliant stuff!!

Yes, I have heard of Morrisey, couldn't say that I know any of the music though. I am not ashamed, I just have different tastes... okay I admit it... I am bitterly ashamed by my ignorance of any current music... :_|
