Purge Merge it with Amph. It's inactive, basically, in that there's so little activity.
I'd prefer to see it remain as it is. Yes, it's pretty quiet. So what? I don't really see a down side to retaining a forum for discussion of non-SW Lucasfilm projects.
Besides redundancy of having it moderated? How about that the discussion can be held elsewhere, and more inclusively?
I say option 2. Lucasfilm has been part of Disney for over 4 years now.
How much longer is this thread going to stay on life support? It's over a year old, has seen just six posts (excluding this one) in the past year, and hasn't seen a moderator or admin opinion in over a year. Let it (and the forum being discussed) die peacefully.
Let's not be hasty, we should have some consensus. Therefore, a question to the floor:
What Should We Do with the 'What Should We Do with the Lucasfilm Limited Forum?' thread?
It requires at least 2-3 more moderators.
I would note that "a year without any action" is just about the right length of time for Mod Squad to accomplish something, so I would suggest keeping a look out for news.
I know I'm late in the game, but:
I'd vote to leave it as is, but add Disney categories to it.
I'd make it an all film forum, maybe include TV too. If we moved all the movie reviews and discussions out of the Community forum and into a dedicated Film/TV forum, that could make Community a little easier to deal with.
Shutter it or move/migrate discussions to Amph with regular film discussions. Not enough activity.
Oh, you guys have achieved some operational efficiency?
Going down the page, I am most sympathetic to this viewpoint, so I will second it.
