Starting a thread for people to talk about the shows they're currently watching on TV. Want to rant about an episode or a storyline you hated? Want to recommend a show to others? This is the place.

My friends and I watched the season opener of The Sing-Off on Monday. I had not seen the previous season so this was my introduction to the show. It's like American Idol but only for a cappella groups. I loved it way more than I ever enjoyed American Idol. We're watching the second episode tonight.

Not really watching anything regularly right now other than SW-TCW.

I did watch the Warehouse 13 Holiday show and actually enjoyed it. I really enjoyed seeing Paul Blackthorne on SyFy again. Bring back THE DRESDEN FILES!

There's a singer in one of the groups on The Sing-Off that looks like Jess.

    It's really weird.

PAWN STARS. Actually, I turn the sound down and play the song
Tomorrow Never Knows during the episode.

I'm not sure how to feel about The Event yet. I want to like it. I think I like it. But I don't love it yet.

I love The Closer, Castle and of course Top Chef. Oh and Hawaii 50, for the eye-candy, not so much for the plot line.Saw part of the Sing Off too, DVR'd will try to watch it this weekend.

The League on FX. The League is about a group of friends who compete in their own fantasy football league. It's not exactly the cleanest show in the world, but you will laugh your arse off

I've been watching **** My Dad Says, and I have to say, it's really cute. I had no idea how good it was going to be, but it's a lot of fun. William Shatner is wonderful, playing a wonderfully over-the-top character. He reminds me of his Denny Crane character from the first season of Boston Legal, before the character had much depth. It also helps that the regulars are rounded out by 2 Mad TV vets.

Billy Shatner looks about 65 years old. Couldnt believe it when i found out a couple years ago that he is now turning 80

I watched an episode of Outsourced, and it didn't really grab me. I love The Office though, as well as 30 Rock and Community.

Even though it still has some of it's old "WB drama" elements, I've really enjoyed Smallville.

This past week's episode was great because it featured Michael Shanks from Statgate as Hawkman and Michael Hogan from Battlestar Galactica as Deathstroke, in addition to some of their other recurring guest stars.

Had a great bit of meta-humor with Shanks (who, as Daniel Jackson, died all the time on SG-1) saying the line "I'm a pro at dying."

not really watching anything this year. My shows of last year 24 and Lost are over.
I intend to buy some tv series and watch them in one shot

Last night's episode of The Sing-Off was like a fairy tale.

The judges have the power to eliminate groups, up until the finale, in which the winner is determined by audience vote, a la every other competition reality show. Last night started with 5 teams, and two teams were going to be eliminated (in the course of 2 rounds, so one team eliminated each round). After one round, the first team was eliminated, leaving four groups.

All four groups did so well in that round that the judges didn't eliminate anyone. All four groups are now up for a shot at the finale next week. I still can't believe they didn't eliminate anyone from that round.

I was keeping up with "The Colony". It's cool to see how people think in situations like that

There is a place where bad Teddy Bears go,
of fire and brimstone deep down below,
their seams are ripped, their stitches undone,
their stuffing removed, and burned by the ton,
while on the throne, without heart or care,
sits the overlord Bearalzebub, a true devilbear... [face_devil]

Watched the Doctor Who Christmas special this year. I greatly enjoyed it; a lot of wonderful time-traveling, Christmasy fun.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit"
Both have interesting story lines and thought provoking issues.
