What to do if you are banned.

Ok a question then (feels like painting a target on his back) if ya get banned and fillout the form how long does it take to get back to you? Also if you don't know who banned ya would pm'ing any admin help?

 

Well if you don't know who banned you it would definitely be better sending an e-mail to the JC admins (jc-admins@theforce.net).

I don't know how long it takes for the reply to the unban form, simply because I haven't been banned before, but I don't think it's more than 2 or 3 days.

 

Heh, actually, to be quite honest we the admin team as a whole are not too responsible about those "unban request" thingies... we get to them whenever we can. Most of the time we seem to forget, or leave the bannings we weren't responsible for alone.

if you are banned, first you cry, then you get into action, by emailing a forum buddy whose email address you've put into your address book previously and ask him/her to email to you the unbanning instructions you forgot to save on your hard drive.

And by the way if you have an IP ban (which would be really bad), you can't see the Forums at all, so you need to use another computer, I think...

 

Yes, that's what I understand. If you get IP banned, it blocks your total access to JCC, and you have to find another computer to PM an admin.

Any admins out there? Can you confirm this, please?

 

I believe once your IP banned no amount of arse kissing can save you.

Besides, they don't IP ban much because it can take down a lot of other people with them.
