What trait attracts you to people?

All of the above is ideal, of course, and makes it possibly perfect.

But to pick major ones... as it is about attraction, looks do play a part initially, either way, although I think that's the case for everybody. Coupled with that though, somebody's personality and humour definitely are what keeps the attraction; or creates it if looks weren't a large part to begin with.



Reading through the entire thread, one reply stuck out to me. I 100% agree with it...

The common ground of belief is actually a huge thing.

Personality

 

Personality of course! Granted, humor and intelligence are both *really* important to me, but don't they fall under personality somewhat?

 

Personality, there are other factors of course, but that is the defining one

 

Personality. How someone looks is the least important thing about them, IMHO

 

Looks get my attention, personality keeps my attention, and whether or not I think he'd make an acceptable and willing father to my future children determines whether or not I act on that attention.

Sense of Humour.

 

All of the above.

 

Personality and intelligence, primarily.

 

I am not going to lie, looks is the first thing that attracts me to a person. If I do not know the person, I look at their looks first - a good smile and pretty eyes is what gets me. Anyway, then, when I get to know them, personality comes next.

 

Humor, Intelligence, Looks and Personality for me.

 

Mostly it's a mix of some of the above. Above all is personality, so that's what I voted for.
