What type of schooling did / do you have?

A throwback to the colonial period....

There should be an option for "both". I went to a public grade school, but a private high school. I voted "private"

I've been in all 3 as well, but I've been homeschooled from the 7th grade on.

 

I went to a public elementary school because my parents didn't know homeschooling existed. Started 6th grade homeschooling so I never suffered the agonizing torture of middle school. Started dual-enrolling at 16 at college. I loved homeschooling!

Hey, did anyone else dual-enroll during highschool at a real college? (for those who don't know what I'm saying - attending classes at a college and counting that class as both college credit and highschool credit. One class counts for two, makes graduating much quicker.)

 

I also had all three.

Julie-I'm doing that this semester, my senior year. I just registered for english comp 101, astronomy, and precalculus. I won't graduate quicker, but i'll have little head start.

 

I'm in an all-male private school.

 

I am in public schools. But I move so often I don't know where im from. I would say my elementary school and High school where good, but middle school should be removed and have no record of such a time.

 

I'm surprised that this many of us were homeschooled.

 

I was Public and Private schooled, almost equal in years too. Hrmm....

pubic, But last year people were saying that a cloumbin (did I spell that right?) shooting was going to happen at the high school. 300 kids stayed home. 100 checked out. Nothing happened. good thing to my brother went.

 

Public... well, actually, Independent school, like howlie.

Public in the USA. Don't those terms mean different things in England at least?

 

Julie, I'm dual-enrolled too. I started in eighte grade with history courses because I couldn't stand the history teacher at my middle school.
