I'm going go with digital. ILM did such a great job on Yoda that I forgot he wasn't a puppet. And it expressions made him so real it was stunning.

I have to say puppet. Through out the whole movie I could tell that Yoda didn't really blend in with the other characters and his surroundings picture-wise.

I'm going with digital, but I wouldn't like it if they went back and changed them all to it.

I went with puppet. You just can't beat Yoda as a puppet.

You can beat puppet Yoda with Digital Yoda. a puppet wouldn't have worked because of the fight scene. He would've had to be digital for the fight so it was better that he was digital the whole time. I thought the digital Yoda was amazing.

I didn't have high expectaions for the digital Yoda, but after I saw that even his ears jiggle then I started to like him.

    Puppet Yoda rules!

Although, sadly, Yoda in EpI was very strange, and made me sad, because he looked...stupid. But in EpII, he looks extremely well done for a CGI character! The best thing about Yoda in EpII..was that he LOOKED like Puppet Yoda in OT!!! That's worth something!

They were both great, but the digital Yoda looked a little cartoonish.

Maybe because I grew up with Yoda puppet, I'll stick with him. As posted before, he does look too cartoonish in some scenes.

Digital. Pupper was the classic, and I love that one, but Digital looks so much realer.

Ooh...tough call. I wouldn't change either one. The CGI Yoda had so much more emotion, but the puppet was classic. I'm gonna have to say:

    Undecided.

Actually, I like both. But I do like how they were able to make Yoda seem more real in AOTC, so I went with digital.

They both had their good points. And I still think Digital is the better one.

The digi Yoda so long as they keep mimicing the puppet's qualities. Yoda and enhanced E.T. are some of the best CG I've seen.
I think it'd be neat if for some scenes in the OT they pulled an E.T and enhanced some of the puppet's expressions.
And remember, for every cartoony CG Yoda, there was a little rubber Yoda who had to hop everywhere, had restricted mouth mvements, and restricted emotions.
    I'd say it's a fair trade-off :)

    Digi, no contest.

The OT Yoda was a little better, but TPM looked waaay to fake.

With the digitally enhanced you can see Yoda move more freely.

The Digital Yoda that will be used in Ep3. AotC's Yoda was very good, but, as with almost every CGI character in every film to date (except perhaps the Clonetroopers of Ep2) his actions were still a tiny bit too fake. (They emphasize certain movements that humans wouldn't take so much effort to do. That kinda thing) I think by Ep3 a digi Yoda will be perfect, but with Ep2 it was merely brilliant.

Puppet. So what if it doesn't have much expression or little nuances?

The puppet Yoda has a character which the CGI Yoda doesn't have and will never have. Like the PT compared to the OT, CGI Yoda may look a lot better, but it's too artificial. There's no magic to it.
