Interesting, considering Clone Wars was a television series.

You are aware the start of the series was a movie that premiered at cinemas?
    Nice try though.

If they throw in Starkiller Base 2. And Abrams justifies it as totally different because it's even bigger, see. And Snoke returns, except he announces his true identity to be...Mega Darth Black Hole!

I've only walked out of one movie in my entire 35 years of life: Kong Skull Island.

So I doubt I would walk out of Kylio and Reyliet, not after all the effort it takes to get to a cinema. Plus, I wanna see their twin babies at the end. Bet they'll be adorabs. :p

Also, I will be too busy playing - "Where's Plaguies?" I have it on good authority he will be in the movie, but he'll be invisible. So I'll have to search very hard for clues to see him. Probably the only thing that might make me walk out is if someone solved the puzzle for me and shouted, "there's Plaguies!" before I found him.

Completely retconning the answer to Rey’s parentage. If learn more details about her parents, that’s one thing, but to turn around and basically say, “oh no actually her parents weren’t ordinary drunkard scavengers. She’s Palpatine’s clone” or something like that. I’ve never walked out of a movie before but that’d make me do it. I’d be so furious.

I walked out of TLJ...to go to the restroom.
    I came back. :p

There is something that would absolutely make me walk out of EP IX, but I dare not say what it is. [face_shhh]

Can’t ever recall something being so utterly terrible it caused me to get up and walk out on a film?
Just think of the shame lol. Halfway through you get up and exclaim to whoever you’re with, ‘Come on, we’re leaving.’ As you then navigate your way past those who are forced to stand in your row

I liked the first part with Bryan Cranston. After that I was bored. I don't know why. I loved both Jurassic World's. And I loved the Kong that came out in 2005. Saw that one at the dollar theater, twice, I think.

I wasn't there to see Skull though. I was there to see something else and I got the time wrong, and Skull started at the right time, so I went in and watched that one. But I wasn't really in the right mood. And my ride was waiting for me. I didn't feel like it was worth making them wait to see the rest of it. So I would have stayed if the circumstances would have been different.

Come to think of it, I might have the wrong Kong movie. This was several years ago. If Skull Island was the one with Tom Hiddleston in it, I didn't watch that one all the way through, either, but I didn't go to see it at cinema. The one I walked out on was earlier than that. :p

This pretty much encapsulates the knee jerk nature of the Star Wars fandom. I'll admit, the theatrical opening to The Clone Wars wasn't the strongest set of episodes the series would ultimately provide. But, the level of venom that came out after the theatrical release was astounding. Many were "done" and wouldn't give it a chance to get its legs. So many calling it to be stricken from the canon and saying it was garbage compared to the Tartakovsky series.

Ultimately, The Clone Wars became deeply loved by many and is arguably considered, by many, to be their favorite and most important addition to the canon since the OT. The character of Ahsoka took the bulk of the vitriol. She was called a Mary Sue, annoying, and a plot hole. Now, she's considered a favorite character for many.

This is why I choose to not make sweeping decisions on the merits of a Star Wars project until I've seen it in its entirety. Whether it's Clone Wars or the ST. I think that time and totality have a way of judging these projects more favorably. Even the PT is getting love now from millennials who grew up with them as "their Star Wars".

So, I'll say that there is probably nothing that would make me walk out of the theater during Episode IX.

Oh God this was great. I now know what Palpatine must of felt when he foreseen the future. I immediately thought someone would forget about the opening movie and try and call you out lol.

I thought about one thing that would cause me to walk out. If "Joh Yowza and the Max Rebo band" play "Jedi Rocks" in this movie. I would likely be escorted out of the theater and banned for life, do to the profanity laced tirade that would immediately begin.

If Bryan Cranston was in it, that wasn’t Kong: Skull island; that was the 2014 Godzilla film directed by Gareth “Rogue One” Edwards.

There was a leak from someone who claimed he had read an early draft of Episode IX... several years between the VIII and the IX, Rey would be the mother of Kylo Ren's child despite her still being in the Resistance and him the FO's big boss (they would have had sex through Skype Force I presume), and would train the kid as a Jedi; Kylo would find out and try to kill her, only to be saved by Leia.

Well, there's really nothing much that could make me leave the theater. But if I see Rey with a kid or pregnant with Kylo Ren's legacy since the beginning, I swear I won't even wait to see if the rest of the script is correct. Same if Rey's presented as a sort of Immaculate Conception prototype like Schmi. Ridicule doesn't kill anyone but that's no reason to promote it.

That reminds me of the time I walked out of the Sixth Sence when they revealed that Samuel L. Jackson’s character was dead the whole time.

Nothing really. I've honestly never walked out of a theatre. You'd best believe if I spent ten dollars on a movie ticket, I'm gonna get my money's worth.

If the movie is god-awful, then I'll just give it a negative review online like normal fanboys do.
