i gave myself an iso hair cut but i actually looks kinda nice
I did my fringe (bangs for the Americans) and as I've been doing it for 35 years, I knew it would be fine
Dragged out the PS2 and Dancemat! LOL The mat wasn't working anymore but I could still do the routines so I went through them. I got a sweat worked up. Then took the dogs out for 40 mins this afternoon. Trying to keep active.
*wishes he had a dancemat*
Its very old technology, husband laughed at me for wanting it running again. Said "You know I think I could get a second hand mat that works if you want?" I dont care about the scores, I just wanted it for exercise.
Does the mat have a battery that might have died or corroded?
I had to order wild bird seed and suet balls today (Amazon UK Marketplace). My stuff from the supermarket is running out and I don't feel like a trip there since I've been able to get most stuff locally (but not this). Stores near me have cat/dog food but that's about it. So I've got a 12.75 kg bag of mixed seed and 150 suet balls in a tub ordered. Tub has shipped today - pretty speedy! I probably won't need to buy suet balls for at least 6 months..
Being very greatful for having a RL job that has been pretty secure.
I'm retired so no job (other than this one). Glad yours is OK so far.
*listens to two probable bounty hunters talk about job security*
EDIT: that was supposed to be in a funny voice not annoying
i'm questioning on the fact that i'm getting scratches that i have never noticed before... i hate this feeling
Two hours later................
Admitting my son helped with this. It was fun working with him. "No mum, its over here you muppet" He's a delight!
^ Trying to figure out what "you muppet" means in Australia @Adalia-Durron
Means kinda like 'you dork' - muppets don't have brains....... Hey, its tame compared to some things he could have called me!
I always thought Kermit was pretty smart though. I am sure there are unique ways to call someone worse in Aussie. Can you teach them to me?
Ummm, not here I can't
PS Check Discord @Bazinga'd
Thank you. I appreciated the expansion of my vocabulary.
So you can add that to my list of things I am doing. Improving my Australian vocabulary.
Only the darkside of it............which may be appropriate under these extreme conditions
my cousin @DarthNightRadar has this really expensive lego death star and he hasn't even built half of it. i am tempted to go help him finish it
I washed my car for the first time this year. It's still not really clean, but at least I got most of the winter's grit and grime off it and I'm not embarrassed to be seen driving it in public now. There's a big rectangle of dirt on the driveway where I rinsed it.
I find that hard to believe @Sarge - I was under the impression your car had an uncountable amount of paint layers on it so when you washed it so regularly it didn't change colour!!!
Every time @Darth_wanderguard washes his car we get storms.
Nice quiet weekend for me. Read my book, build a LEGO, play my game, FaceTime with family tonight.
Pretty similar here - ventured out for the Saturday papers (and read them), watched the daily govt briefing (UK) on the news, and just catching up on online stuff now. I'll go offline in around 90 mins and read for awhile before bed.
I'm stewing in regret about the fact that I kept putting off that haircut back when I could still get one. Just call me Mrs. Chewbacca.
