Oy. How's every little thing?

 

Much better now. Two days of antibiotics and he's officially no longer contagious. The swelling's gone right down, and he felt good enough to go out and play in the sunshine this afternoon for a little while.

The recouperative ability of a child six or under against some illnesses that would lay flat most adults never ceases to amaze me.

 

So what's news people?

What's everyone been up to?

 

Raining and gray day today in Van-city. I want to get out but don't want to get wet; what to do, what to do... I suppose I should be doing something productive, but that's probably not going to happen.

 

Be thankful. I'd take rainy over a foot of snow any day.

 

i don't after living in Costa Rica(for all ou jurassic park buffs, yes, it really DOES rain that much) i must say that they're almost on even footing...in my mind at least

 

I gotta agree with Rogue on this one, but I've never been to Costa Rica. Rain, at least Vancouver rain, is better than snow; because I don't gotta shovel rain. It doesn't usually come down very heavily around here, just enough to get you wet. Usually I don't mind so much, today was just a blah day.

 

Yeah I've had a few of those days where I just wanna sit on my arse all day and watch paint dry rather than getting up and doing something.

TWN website says to expect 7's and 8's all week so I'm hoping this blasted snow'll melt before halloween. Then maybe hold-off til new years like it did that one year. That was cool

The strange thing is I used to love winter. It was my favorite season and I couldn't wait for it to snow. Since I started driving though I hate it

How are things out in V-Town? It is actually quite pleasant here today.

 

Not sure about Victoria, but Vancouver is trying to be sunny, at least at the moment.

In other news, I pulled my hamstring walking on the sidewalk. Not running, not playing sports, but walking. How pathetic is that?

Woohoo, they finally got a Dark Helmet icon. Not sure what it has to do with Hallowe'en though.

 

Hallowe'en icons are pretty lame this year...

 

They're still uploading them. Keep checking. I wanted to get a good Jason one but the one they have is pretty lame.

 

I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, but I wanted a Hallowe'en related icon that was cool; didn't find one though. There sure was a lot of LotR icons for some reason. Maybe, as Rogue says, the good Hallowe'en ones are still coming.

 

Yes they are still coming as there are about 650 icons to be loaded and only about half been loaded.

 

More icons available - a few of Jack Skellington available too. However, I only saw one relating to The Exorcist, and that one was not very clear. And what's with all the Matrix icons?
