Whats up?

The thing with icons are that Icon-makers just made to what they thought people would like. or what was requested

That means more of some and less of others. Plus on fuzzy icons not everyone is as talented as me

 

i must say i think the michael jackson one is the scariest of all

 

I remember the days when all they had was like 20-30 Halloween icons. Now theres 600! Thats crazy...

And they did'nt even have my Skelator icon. Grrrr

They better have my 'Clarence' Christmas icon from "It's a Wonderful Life" or else

 

Hallowe'en is fun, but it's good to be back in my Hiromi icon.

I haven't even started yet... I probably won't be able to until well into December

 

Christmas! Jeeze, this year some of the malls started pulling out their Christmas decorations the day after Halloween! They're starting earlier every year!

I have an early December birthday, so the rule around our house is no Christmas decorations get put up until the day after. Bah, humbug! At least I'm not in my sister's situation: her birthday is December 28th!

 

And that's why I'm thrilled to be born in June.

In the states, appearently the holidays kind of start with their Thanksgiving, which is in late November, so they avoid the whole immediately after Halloween issue because they have another holiday in between the two. I like waiting till the beginning of December for the whole decorating and stuff for Christmas. It allows me to enjoy my favourite season: fall.

The stress of holiday or the stress of moving

which is worse?

I don't know but moving during the holiday time is very stressful.

 

I hear ya'. I'm just starting to get settled back in after moving. Had to have all my stuff out by Jan 1st plus I had a ***** of a cold too.

 

I got some new, brighter lightbulbs for my bathroom, which is good because now I can see a lot better in there. The problem is I can now see how filthy it is, although I had a hunch even before. So now I have to decide between (a)cleaning my bathroom or (b)removing the lightbulbs. I'm leaning towards (b).

Yes it is.

But there's also the inconvenience of showering with a flashlight that must also be considered. Why, oh why does life always have to give me such difficult choices? I pity me.

 

Yeah, I painted my room dark to avoid that exact same problem. Now it looks perfect.

I have way too many boxes in here. I gotta finish unpacking someday...

 

Hmmm, dark paint, interesting...

Now, the trick is to get someone to paint it for me.

 

Yeah, I just need someone to unpack my stuff for me too.

 

So is anyone in WC going to Celebration?

WC also stands for Water Closet, a British euphemism for the toilet. hence Berx just asked if anyone in the bathroom was going to celebration, which led me down the strange path of... "Only if there's something in the bathroom to celebrate!"
