I thought it would be interesting to see a poll with SW films in them that did not include The Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi. I wonder how many votes the non-SW entries will receive..

FYI, here are his short films:

    Filmmaker (1968)
    6-18-67 (1967)
Anyone Lived in a Pretty How Town (1967)
    Emperor, The (1967)
    THX 1138:4EB (1967)
    1:42:08: A Man and His Car (1966)
    Freiheit (1966) (as Lucas)
    Herbie (1966)
    Look at Life (1965)

BTW, please DO NOT vote for AOTC unless you've seen it.

ANH beats TPM. If AOTC turns out better than ANH, then I'll vote twice with a sock to null my vote. [face_mischief]

Just saw AOTC, and it gets my vote. It tops ANH, TPM, and ROTJ, and is very close to ESB (a second viewing should help me decide which is the better of the two).

I saw AOTC yesterday. It's my second favourite SW movie and now my favourite GL directed movie.

    +1 for AOTC!

I've now seen AOTC twice, and it's definitely my second favorite Star Wars film. It has a chance to dethrone ESB, too.

Neither Return of the Jedi nor Howard the Duck were directed by Lucas. This is a poll of his directorial efforts only.

Out of that list, AOTC easily takes the cake.

Attack of the Clones easily wins this vote. None of the others even compare with this movie from that list.

AOTC. To me the movie shows that he was very confident in what he wanted to do.
