    Whether you like the movie itself or not, I think this is a great opening, the music combined with the shots of the fighters preparing to take off, then blending into "Danger Zone" when they do, pretty cool stuff.


    Another classic opening!

    PotC has a world-class score too, and its opening is appropriately moody and atmospheric...



    but it doesn't get to the rousing stuff that grabs my attention until Jack makes his grand entrance.

    Not sure I would call the POTC score "world-class"... It's okay, but bombastic and overproduced, with one trick (the He's a Pirate theme). The sequel scores are much better.
