I'd consider 2001 my favorite Kubrick film, but it is also the only film of his that I've seen. Because of that, I did not vote in the poll. I don't think it would be fair for me to do so until I see at least one more film of his.

Haven't seen all of his films, but I doubt any would surpass Paths of Glory for me. Its simple and unpretentious storytelling makes it perhaps one of the finest anti-war films of all time. Kirk Douglas' character is the character that I can relate to the most out of the Kubrick movies I've seen, and his performance is very memorable. I consider it to be a personal favorite, but I also honestly believe it's the most well made Kubrick movie I've seen.

I voted for A Clockwork Orange, with The Shining and 2001 as runners up. I have a feeling though that this list will change, once I get a chance to see Dr. Strangelove.

    A Clockwork Orange for me.

It was a split-decision between ACG and 2001: A Space Oddysey. But I went with ACG mainly because I can still enjoy it each time I watch it, unlike where my excitement from watching 2001 lessens the more times I watch it.

For me it was a tie between 2001 and Strangelove.

Eyes Wide Shut. Yes, for the nudity. I'm shallow and I fancy Nicole Kidman! :p

2001 was an amazing book, that was supplemented by a crappy film, just a special effects showcase with great music. Which Phantom Menace... I mean which FILM does that remind you of? ;)

I voted for A Clockwork Orange. It was that film that convinced me that Stanely Kubrick was a great director. It's so fantastic in everyway, and so striking. But the trouble is that Stanely has made so many great films, it's hard to choose which, but in terms of freshness, A Clockwork Orange wins hands down, in my opinion.

Clockwork Orange....Eyes Wide Shut is a close second.

I like clockwork because I got a chance to live in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire England (where it was filmed) for 4 months...so I have personal memories of the area I guess.

    2. A Clockwork Orange
    3. Full Metal Jacket

Kubrick is completely hit or miss with me. I either really enjoy his films (the three listed) or I don't like them at all (The Shining and 2001).
