What's your favourite Ewan McGregor film?

Well I am sure I will get lynched for this but I have only seen Ewan in TPM and AOTC...

*cringes*

 

I voted Moulin Rouge. He did a great job in AOTC and TPM, but his singing just amazed me. I was so impressed. ANd he looked totally hot! Ok, so that's a lame reason. At any rate, That's why I voted MR

I voted favorite acting job he does, not overall favorite movie.

 

Brassed off was a beautiful film, simelar 'nervous Ewan' performance as Little Voice, but with more substance.

Rogue Trader, a little too close to reality for y liking then again the harrowing nature of Trainspotting was great, an incredibly influential film on par with Requiem for a Dream.

Personally I just think it's great that he continues to do both small independant British films and Hollywood blockbusters. He's great in everything.

 

Trainspotting is his best non-Star Wars film but I chose Attack Of The Clones because he's fantastic in it.

He's only 30 but he plays the wise father figure brilliantly.

His worst movie in Velvet Goldmine which is just awful.

 

Hmm, I chose TPM on the basis of its being the Ewan film I enjoy the best- I think it's keeping its title - but I think I loved *him* the best in Moulin Rouge. He's so passionate and of course sings amazingly.

Tricky one...they're all pretty good! But I went for Trainspotting.

 

Ewan was in Black Hawk Down? I didn't know that. Who was he? Or does it matter, as I didn't learn any of the characters names? Good movie, that was, but a little hard to recognize one soldier from the other.

Mmmm. Ewan.

It was really hard to choose between TPM and Moulin Rouge. I loved the character of Obi-Wan in TPM. He was hot, smart, cute, brave, loyal, and the accent. *thud*

But in Mouiln Rouge, he was sexy,smart, loyal, determined, in love, brave, and had the lovely accent. But did I mention his singing? Lovely. Who knew that he could sing like an angel?

So in the end I picked Moulin Rouge, only because he sang in it. I mean, come on, "My gift is my soooo-ooong!" And I loved the way he cried at the end, sobbing. Brought me to tears. Although Obi crying at his Master's death also brought me to tears, but...

 

I really hate Ewan. But AOTC is my favorite of his movies.

I would say Black Howk Down because I love the Movie.

Definitly Trainspotting!

 

Let me be the first to say Little Voice

First time I'd seen Ewan, fell in love with his sweetness. During the credits I was delighted to find out he was Obi-Wan in TPM, so that gave me more reason to look forward to it

I've seen MR, TPM, AotC and Brassed Off, and I'm yet to see some of his other films. I do plan to, but I haven't yet.

 

I voted for Moulin Rouge- I love him in the SW films- but since they are ensemble pieces I went for a role where he was really the leading man

 

AOTC though Moulin Rouge and Trainspotting were good too.
