When was your last HIV test?

Seriously though, you been tested recently? I'm on an awareness kick this month.

 

about 18 months ago....negative

 

Never had one.

I spoke to the Docs about it a while back and they said there was no reason for me to have one.

 

My GP didn't say that

infact he looked a little suprised I was negative

I think everyone should be tested at least once every three years.

 

....Or if you've slept with at least 3 skanks

 

My test was atrocious. When I had to reverse the 18 wheeler around a corner and into the warehouse I managed to jackknife the thing. I swore never to sit in one again.

 

Or just one if they're Arun quality skank.

Nah... never had one. Actually reading the comments on here... the first people I know then who've had one...

 

nah never had one, even thou last year at the night clubs around here there was supposedly someone going around with a needle and nicking people with it then leaving a note on there shoulder saying "welcome to the world of hiv"

The least tasteful AIDS related thing I saw was in New York.

A whole square called Aids Plaza.

 

Our NHS is buggered enough as it is without introducing compulsary HIV tests.

They'll only test you if you're at risk.

 

You mean you can't walk in and say "Here's 20 bucks, I want an AIDS test?" There's no private company who does them for a fee?

 

A word of warning. The lab I used to work in had a virology department. On the floor below mine. They used to use an american test for HIV. It used to give negative results for known carriers......

 

I wouldnt trust a private company.

Sheesh, I don't even trust the NHS!

 

Private health care is bad in this country. It's the same doctors. The only difference is there are no waiting lists. It's a quicker service but not better quality. There is no accountability like there is with Performance indicators in the NHS.

 

I should prolly have one.


When I register with another doctor I will I guess.


Still, by then the ghoenerieia will prolly have eaten it away.
