Hey people, 'tis Tomas from Slovakia, (currently livin it up in Canada). Right now i'm 12 of age, and safely said, one of the Star Wars uber-geeks - the type that goes around naming each single fictional object in a movie. Talking about movies, I hang around the Fan Films forum, and i've done some visual work myself (check signature, currently the site is down though). I come with intentions to liven this place up, have a few laughs in the process. For a start... Anyone here familliar with Red Dwarf?

Krivlos, where are you from? How could it be, that you've never heard about Croatia? mayby try by Croatian name: Hrvatska (i hope i didn't made any mistake there)

Well, Hrvatska is know for Vegeta, very cool spice, distributed everywhere in the world. Some would know us for being passionate soccer fans, though I personaly hate soccer. We have best team in rukomet in the world, but I don't knoe how to say it on English. It is a sport, with 7 players who throw a ball at each other and trying to score into a net guarded by another player. Er, it's like football, but it is played with hands. AARRGGHH, I can't remember how to say it on English! But Croatia did get golden medal on Olympics in Athens '04 and we are also world champs in this sport, whatever the name is.

 

Don't forget about Janica Kostelic

And about that sport... You mean handball?

 

I remember! In Russia it calls Horvatija. I heard about it!

 

In Poland we call that country Chorwacja
