    I live in a very rural area and I would much rather live in the suburbs. Driving 20 miles to get to anything kinda stinks.

    Suburbs. Or, really, a small city that doesn't have the insane traffic and so forth of a truly urban area but where I still don't have to drive forever to get somewhere.

    That second sentence kinda describes where I live and have lived :p

    I voted rural area, because I grew up in the countryside and I want to live in the country in the future.

    But right now, I want to live in an urban area.

    There are times when I'd like to live alone in the middle of a desert. :p But overall, I'd rather live in an urban area. I've grown up (and currently live) in a small city, and I'd love to live in a big city someday.
