ST Which mysteries will stay unanswered in IX?

It will stay unanswered if his mom Leia bought him these pants as a birthday present and they are the real reason he joined the dark side

 

My guesses to what stays unanswered after Ep9:

• Who is Snoke and how did he manipulate Ben Solo?
• What is Kylo Ren/Ben's motivation to joining the dark side? - is it power?...just a lust for it?...he is just truely evil?
• Who are the Knights of Ren?
• What happened to Luke's other students that Ben took with him? Did they form the Knights of Ren?
• Why did Luke not care about his other students who went with Ben/Kylo?
• What is the situation in the galaxy? Political?
• How did Rey get so powerful so fast with no training? - is it just because? Did the Force just make her powerful just because Kylo Ren is there so she needs no training? Is this is new concept of the Force?
• Any other concepts of the Force? - grey Jedi, etc?
• Where did Maz get Luke's lightsaber?
• Why was there a map to Luke Skywalker on the island? He didnt want to be found.
• If Force Ghost Jedi can just appear and manipulate things so easily (Yoda and lightning) - why cant Yoda, Anakin and Obi-Wan now all get involved too? Shouldnt they be able to just bring the FO down themselves? What is the limiations or restrictions of this? - I feel this opens up pandora's box which shouldnt have been opened.
• Why cant Anakin talk to Kylo Ren?
• Since Poe cant get a scratch on him when he pilots a ship...he is that good....why cant he bring down the FO himself? In 2 movies he has simply destroyed everything in his path. Why did he need the bombers in Ep8?

Wasn't there a novel where it says Palps is from a rich aristocratic family from Naboo?

Snoke literally appeared out of nowhere in to a galaxy and power struggle we are familiar with. When someone comes in and takes over Palpatines troops and resources AND technology an explanation is necessary.
With palpatine we have no information about a time when he wasn't in control. The opening scroll fills us in on apower dynamic that we are completely new to.

We know by ROTJ that luke defeats evil and then in TFA out of no where a new threat emerges. Of course we will have questions as to HOW, WHEN an WHY. Force Ghost Anakin, obi wan, qui-gon, and yoda didn't sense an uprising in the dark side and warn luke? Luke would just let the dark side grow without confronting it? The imperial remnants got away and fell under snokes control? willingly? Snoke survived without being discovered by Vader and palpatine???

 

We also need to know if Chewie eats that roasted porg or not.

Pablo confirmed yesterday what many of us had been saying for two years: the bond formed between Rey and Kylo during the interrogation scene gave Rey access to Kylo's skills. See 14:07 of the video below. There is a discussion of the interrogation scene and then Pablo states: "It feels like there's definitely a door opened between the two of them in the Force Awakens, where they pull from each other, in terms of skills and memories."
TLJ also confirms that the force gave power to Rey as light to balance Kylo's darkness. See Snoke's comments and Luke's re "raw strength" seen only once before. So the two have equal power in the force.
When Rey and Kylo touch hands, you hear the force theme. Not Snoke's theme.

His backstory was expounded on in the Darth Plagueis novel, but that story is no longer canon. Now we only have the PT part of his backstory which is about how he took over the galaxy, but not about how he came to be a sith.

Palpatine not having an origin worked because he was THE bad guy. With Snoke we have another one; so, right away our brain asks why is there another one? We don't need an origin, but some sort of explanation as to who he is, what he was doing, etc is needed. I don't think we will get that answer.
I don't think we will get an answer about why Rey doesn't need training either. Broom Boy used the force without training too. I think that's just how the force works now. (Contrary to Han's line)
I don't think we'll get an answer to why no one answered the Resistance distress call either. Movie seemed says that there were people out there ready to answer, but then, no one does. I guess they were scared or too busy.
No answer as to how Maz got the lightsaber.
We will never know if the Tosche Station is still holding those power converters for Luke!

She pulled skills from Kylo Ren during the interrogation scene. That's certainly how she learned to use the mind trick and other stuff.

 

Whatever is not integral to the plot/story of the film. I'm fine with that stuff being explained in EU material or just being left for us to speculate.

WHY ARE WE FIGHTING???

WHY HAVE THE GALAXY, OR EVEN INDIVIDUAL MILITARIZED WORLDS, NOT OPPOSED THE INVASION OF THE FIRST ORDER?

If NY, DC, LA, London, Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Moscow, Tokyo, Beijing and Cleveland Ohio were just nuked - WHY IS EVERYONE GLEEFULLY GAMBLING ON WORLD "MONTE CARLO"?

WOULD THERE NOT BE SOME FINANCIAL CONCERN?

TFA's setup shows the Resistance and the First Order are both splinter groups.

Are we to believe the Resistance, now the Rebellion, is the only hope against the First Order?

Are we to believe the former Empire ( the group that did not escape to the Unknown Regions ) does not still hold territory and military hardware?

Are we supposed to believe Starkiller Base's one blast destroyed the entire galaxy's navy and political structure?

Why did no one answer the neo-Rebellion's distress signal?

Does the galaxy even want to be saved by the Rebellion?

The original Rebel Alliance featured key Senators and other influencers in the galaxy. How are a band of ISIS fighters aboard the Millennium Falcon going to "burn the First Order down"?

The galactic conflict set up so far is more akin to Mayweather vs. MacGregor than good vs. evil. Both sides just looking for a fight; to fight for fighting's sake.

Where exactly is the Kylo and Rey story line going? It's like the ending of the Dark Knight:

Joker: You won't kill me out of some sort of misguided self-righteousness. And I won't kill you because you're just too much fun. Maybe we're meant to do this forever? Indeed...

 

Were Rey and Kylo always planned this way? Or did they "find it" in the The Force Awakens footage/editing?
