None really, what I really want to see is a collaborative effort to finish the legends stuff, ie, Sword of the Jedi books and The Force Unleashed 3, but that is asking for too much.

They will do that when all the legends readers are in nursing homes with Dementia and don't even remember who Jaina Solo was.

How people who thought that Palpatine was a weak old man who was injured by Mace Windu reacted to him “somehow” returning from the dead.

Everyone got this wrong. “Somehow” is one of his given names. He’s S.F.S. Palpatine: Sheev Frank Somehow Palpatine.

I would like some stories about...
    -Baylan Skoll's backstory
    -The Chimaera's exile on Peridea
-The fates of the Jedi from the Gathering arc of TCW
-The Old Republic (specifically, the current canon version of it)
-Follow-ups to some of the Visions episodes
    -Unique alien culture
-The Path and those Legends Jedi that had a shout-out in the Obi-Wan Kenobi show
-A space western set on Koboh
    -Waru

These are just the ones that come to mind. XD
I think it would also be cool if they experimented with different genres outside of the usual fare of Star Wars, but I know that's not everyone's cub of tea so YMMV.

Well, as another thread reminded me, still looking for that Separatist hero against a more gray Republic/Jedi would be great to have. As well as more stories just a decade or two before TPM, and the gap before AOTC.

    Same with still wanting:
    1. that Luke/Leia adventure on Naboo with their family, also learning about Padme, perhaps dealing with a legacy of Palpatine's on Naboo
    2. Obi-wan/Satine/Qui-gon backstory on Mandalore
    3. a droid rights movement that succeeds
    4. a new version of a Jedi/Fel Empire with Imperial Knights and Imperial Missionaries (perhaps created in some region after a true crisis, not manipulated like in TCW, convinces the people for a more authoritarian government so they come up with this)
    5. a faction more interested in destruction than conquest, with a fleet of planetkillers like the Exegol Final Order, that gets unleashed
    6. "Joker"-esque faction that just wants the government/Jedi to collapse out of envy, no other ideological goal or any care about what would come after
    7. the slave rebellions against the Hutts, which seemed to happen after Leia became the Huttslayer
    8. barbarian outsider horde that raids/invades (see my new thread on the Yuuzhan Vong and similar ideas)
    9. really diving deep into some of Saw's "allies" - with some Rebel extremists being rather ruthless liberators - would also be an interesting angle to explore more deeply.
    10. diverse Jedi factions (organizations and wanderers, family-allowed and not, government-affiliated and not, those strong in the Force or just there for the philosophy, variety of professions, some with multiple apprentices and older beginners, some more like secluded monks, some more pacifist, some more integrated into local communities, sleeker modern clothing, diverse lightsabers and other weapons) in a more diverse multi-state galaxy (several independent republics, kingdoms, megacorporate-governed systems, and more)

I've swung back-and-forth on this, but I do think bringing back Pius Dea as a major enemy would be good for the franchise overall. One of the more disappointing elements of the ST was still having as much of a focus on humans as the OT, and not returning to the diversity of the PT. Not only having this could be a good story, but it could also make future Star Wars storytellers think more about including alien characters (and using who are supposed to be the most common non-human aliens) too.

A new story featuring the Aing-Tii, their weird powers and delving deeply into their interesting view of seeing the Force as a rainbow of colors

A faction that wants to set galactic civilization back so there can be a return to nature away from technology.

Exploring more bioforming experiments in the new canon, both light and dark.

Stories with more thought to class consciousness, against both corporate overlords and the remnants of aristocracy.

A follow-up to Ahsoka with Baylan Skoll's goal being a motivation similar to Kreia to end the Force's "control" over the destiny of all, reaching a Nightsister/mother-Abeloth who created the Yuuzhan Vong by changing their connection with the Force (and maybe the other Ones being practitioners of an advanced version of the same "magic" way to use the Force), and that being why Baylan is seeking it (to change everyone's connection to the Force), would be an interesting way to bring back multiple EU elements in a concise and original way.

Aren't these satisfied by the Nihil in the High Republic? I admit I haven't read much of those. Also, I think currently there is too much focus on HR to the detriment of pursuing other plots.

I've gone back and forth on that - but I think they'd be different enough from the Nihil.
-for the first you quoted, I'm thinking something more like if the Sorcerers of Rhand got the Exegol Fleet. A faction just going around trying to blow up as many planets (and extinguish as many stars) as possible, seeing destruction as sacred and worshipping the void. Not just anarchy, true annihilation.
-for the second you quoted, the Nihil are closer to that, but I'm not sure if they could as a true barbarian outsider horde. They're not trying to invade much I think, nor are they too exotic/foreign/strange to the Republic/Jedi

As for the High Republic - I'm glad they created a 3-Phase plan to flesh-out the era. Once Phase 3 is done, I'm sure there will be plenty of other stuff for the next potential projects, and more independent stories in the HR era. We've got to acknowledge they're also handicapped by potential future movies and shows - so for any new ground, they need to find a story and a time period that the movies and shows feel like they woudn't touch (at least until the bools/comics laid the foundation and made it interesting, like how the Acolyte is apparently as HR-era show)

It really astounds me that more hasn't been done with this opportunity. Everything is wide open for them to learn more about her now. They really need to.

Ben Kenobi, in the case of Korkie Krieze....

I just want to know more about Exegol and all that goes with it in general before we add yet another group of antagonists.

I’m sort of confident it will happen eventually. I think if demand is there for TFU3 they’ll make it regardless if it’s “canon” or not.

Book wise, if they continue Legends, I want a story about the Hapans becoming a Jedi Monarchy under Alannah. Make it sort of like an alternate sequel trilogy.

Another interesting idea, a way to bring back several Legends into one, as a unique combination

Something like the non-evil hivemind of the Killiks and their Joiners, but the main/original species of the hivemind have the even more alien appearance and language of the Gree. They have their own conception of the Force being a rainbow like the Aing-Tii, have some of the Aing-Tii unique powers, and perhaps their alien nature and belief of the Force as a rainbow in this version they are like the Vong and appear outside the Force at first but just live on another part of its "spectrum." They live in symbiosis with a hivemind world like Zonama Sekot. Perhaps also experiment with more benevolent ways of bioforming than the Vong, but similar. Since space whales are canon now, bringing back the intelligence Duinuogwuin Star Dragons, perhaps as part of this civilization, would also be cool. That would make for a very alien culture, without it being evil. Just very different. An interesting faction to sometimes by an ally of the heroes.

Ehh, they already took a lot of the energy/interest out of it with the Kylo Ren origin story comics, which gave answers to satisfy a lot of curiosity, but not that much satisfaction. I'm sure a few interesting stories will come of it still, but the excitement and potential just isn't there I think.

They've already (somewhat) retconned comics in favour of live action media in the new canon, why not just do it again? A lot of the new SW comic storylines and events have been kind of ridiculous anyway and don't really feel like they could happen in the same universe IMO. I wouldn't mind at all if they just threw the haphazard Kylo Ren comic origin (or parts of it) away in favour of a TCW-like cartoon series
