King Kong? That's a character from a movie, the first one is set pre-1950, there are fantastical elements (dinosaurs in the present day) but the character is not magical, the "King" bit makes them royalty of a sort, and they are neither good nor evil.

 

@Iron_lord I like it but well, arguably King Kong has super powers, the super power of being a giant gorilla.
