Who do you hope Fulcrum is then? (poll)

By no means am I suggesting that this is likely, but I would love if Fulcrum is Valorum. Valorum deserves to get his revenge on Palpatine.

 

IIRC Palpatine had Valorum murdered by way of a bomb planted on his shuttle - and then blamed the separatists for it.

However, I can't remember if that was from a novelization or an EU source.

 

That was in the multimedia project-era Clone Wars comics. TCW Season 6 showed him to still be alive late in the war; while it's possible he could have been assassinated later, some of the other details differed as well.

 

Gotta be Leia if for nothing else but a shocking end of the season reveal for a ratings bump.

I think Trayvis probably makes the most sense, though I voted Mon Mothma just to show my support for her having a major presence in Rebels.

I'd love for Fulcrum to be Garm Bel Iblis, but, well... that almost feels like wishful thinking.

As far as Ahsoka Tano, I'd be okay if she were to show up as a soldier/agent working for Fulcrum, but not as the one. Considering where we last left off with her in TCW, it feels really, really incongruent to me for Tano to suddenly show up out of the blue as a being with the kind of personal resources and power at her disposal that someone like "Fulcrum" would wield.

I'd actually love to see "Fulcrum" not as one being, but a collective of like-minded individuals (and I'd sure like to see ol' sexy Rexy as one of them). ;P

You know what? I like it. Valorum as Fulcrum (with a bunch of beings working under him)?

Hey, speaking of a "long-shot," how about a younger Lando Calrissian?

1. He'd be old enough.
2. He has no love for the Empire, I can tell you that.
3. Canonically-speaking, we have no idea what he may have been doing at this point in time.

...and maybe most important of all, whatever happened to those rumors that Billy Dee was going to appear, voicing a character in Rebels?

I still have faith that Fulcrum is Ahsoka. I hope Rebels Report does another Sound Cloud on Fulcrum's voice from Gathering Forces tomorrow. BTW, the number of voters having their pick as Ahsoka being the one in the lead in the poll with 45.6% of voters is the exact order of numbers chronologically in the OT with 4, 5, 6 as well in the order of numbers.

 

I actually like Volrum it would be very interesting to see what he thought after Sheev became Emperor.

I think if Thrawn was forced to work with the incompetent clowns who pass for Imperial soldiers in Rebels so far, he would just commit seppuku on the spot.

 

Ya, I'm pretty open to Fulcrum being anyone he could logically be; but I do really like the idea of seeing Lando in some kinda rebel role early on. It would give his role in Empire a bit more weight and highlight that he really isn't trying to betray Han, but is making the best of a situation he already dislikes. If we get to see Lando against the Empire early on, it makes his motives in the movies a bit more obvious and interesting.

 

So far, nearly 48% think Fulcrum is Ahsoka.

 

I think it's really surprising if Fulcrum is not Bail Organa - they already showed him and he immediately became interested in rebels. I really think Lando should definitely not be rebel just yet, Ahsoka is unlikely but possible. Mon Mothma or Leia is also possibility. Don't think it can be anyone else. Well maybe Obi-Wan...

Can't believe there's no option for Fulcrum being...Fulcrum. A completely new character.

 

Then why the mystery? Particularly about their voice actor.

 

Nevertheless, it has to be an option.

Problem is he says the symbol on the crate is "the same" as Ashoka's, then shows them both side by side which reveals they're not the same at all. They're just vaguely similar.
