Saga Who has the best voice/accent/language in Star Wars?

I like Cade Bane's Duros voice sound. I don't know why the Duros dude in EA Battlefront II didn't get given the same Duros voice effect. Made him seem not really Duros .

 

James Earl Jones as Vader by a significant margin.

Honourable mentions: Chewie, R2, original Fett, Jabba, Count Dooku

 

And Perry King deserves a lot of praise for his snarkier, more philosophical Han. Ever since hearing the radio program, whenever I read the Brian Daley novels, I hear Han's lines delivered in King's voice.

 

Dooku easily. I could listen to Sir Christopher Lee read a phone book.

 

I gotta give it to James Earl Jones, but I also love listening to Ewan McGregor, Christopher Lee, Alec Guinness, Peter Cushing, Frank Oz, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, and Andy Serkis (not to mention R2-D2 and BB-8).

 

The seismic charges have the best voice/accent.

 

Idk, who has the best but there are some really great accents in Resistance.

 

Lol, yeah. All they need now is to have the best language too

 

The voices are a big part of what makes Star Wars so great! Any random piece of dialogue becomes instantly quote-worth with the right voice delivering it. Some of my favorites in no particular order:

"Tell that to Kanjiklub"
"Looks like a few Tusken Raiders are camped out on the Canyon Dune turn"
"Raaaargh" -Mars Guo
"Stay on target..."
"Blue it's the boy, Red his mother"
"Depends on how good your manners are, and how big your pocket book is."
"The Tecno Union Army...is at your disposal Count"
"We must get the starships back into space"
"Boba, is your father here?"
"Yup"
"I'm the pilot. I brought the message"
"Did you come here, to kill me?"
"Those are rebel ships!"
"I say we fight!"
"He's there sir, on Scarif."
"Do you want to know the odds she uses it against you? They're high. Very high."
"I said intensify the forward firepower!"

And my personal favorite, basically anything the Neimoidians say
"We would never do anything without the approval of the Senate"

"One Naboo cruiser got past the blockade."

Those are the ones I could come up with off the top of my head. Obviously I'm a fan of the classics like "It's a trap" as well.

Hey do you like Egypt Station? I love it! Fellow Macca fan. And James Earl Jones to answer the question.

 

LOVE it! A couple of weaker tracks aside (Do It Now, Caesar Rock) I think it far surpasses New, Kisses and Memory Almost Full. It's up there with Chaos and Creation, for me! Highlight for me has to be Despite Repeated Warnings, great multi-part song in the style of something like Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey.

 

I actually like those 2. The peace song is the only one I skip. I agree it's better than the last 3, although Chaos and Creation is my favorite recent one of his. My favorites are Happy with You and Dominos.

 

For me its always been the Jawa dialect, Greedo's Rodian speech, Wicket's speak, Ki Adi Mundi's accent and Leia as Boussh. Oh, and E-chuta! (How rude!)

Saw Gerrera in Rebels. NOT Saw Gerrera in Rogue One.

Speaking of Rebels, Grand Admiral Thrawn. He sounded almost just like I how I heard him in my head, first reading the Thrawn Trilogy back in high school. Cool as a Tauntaun and dangerously intelligent.

More Rebels goodness, but Sam Witwer's Maul voice sounds better than the original.

Tarkin. Less cool and calculating than Thrawn but still maybe the best English accent ever.

OH and Jason Wingreen's original Boba Fett voice. Dude talked like Dirty Harry on a bad day.

 

JE Jone/Vader.

No other answer really, in ANY movie, ever.

I really love General Grivous’s voice with the cough. I also love his voice in the 2003 series. And of course “Oooo-baaa”.

EV9d9 Jabba's torture droid and Leia's voice as Boushh always stood out for me.

Plus the voice on the eye stalk droid of the palace now I come to think of it, especially when he starts chuckling
