Nah, I'm guessing one of the Aces...maybe the ripped former TIE pilot? Torra's….way too young and naïve to be a spy. I meant she's what, 15? A kid! Not that the First Order is above manipulating children, but...even so.

Tam would be a great choice cause she is soooooooo background and not done much so hence the most unseen character who is getting around spying and also is close to Kaz that she may even be onto him because of her spy training.

I think it’s gonna be Yeager, the show seems to be skirting around getting too attached to him. He loses his family, goes insane, First Order offers him something

 

Unless his family was never dead. Their deaths were faked, they were in comas, then had a long recovery. The FO contacted Yeager a few days before Poe and Kaz showed up on the Colossus. "Help us or your family will be killed for real this time."

Okay, so here's how I think this could work:

The First Order was created around 21 ABY, right? They must have wanted revenge against the New Republic and all of the rebels that fought against the Empire. (If) Yeager played a huge part in the Rebellion, he and his family would definitely be targeted, so they had them followed. They witnessed the racing accident that "killed" Yeager's wife and daughter and saved them, but also gave them something that would make them appear dead, thinking that would come in handy some day. Yeager's wife and daughter were in comas for a while, then had a long recovery. When they were better, they contacted Yeager and forced him to comply with them.

Then, after the Hosnian Cataclysm and the First Order occupation of the Colossus, Kaz would find out and freak out at Yeager, but then understands. He tells Poe after the Battle of Crait, then Poe also gets extremely mad at Yeager, since he lied to him (Poe) and trillions of innocent people were either killed, kidnapped and/or tortured (including Poe himself).

...But, who am I kidding? This sounds waaayyyy too complicated/convoluted for a Disney show.

 

Yeager would have the most emotional impact. He seems like a father figure to Kaz, and Kaz clearly looks up to him. But if Yeager is the spy then why wasn't Kaz arrested? Unless Yeager is protecting Kaz because he genuinely cares for him.

One of the Aces is also a possibility, but would have little emotional impact.

 

Yeager being the spy would be a cheap twist rendering most of the story entirely nonsensical.

It’s not that it’s too complicated for a Disney show. It’s that it makes no sense whatsoever. If Yeager is the spy, why does he do any of the things he does in the show?

 

^To keep his cover. We already know Kaz and Synara are spies, so we saw them act like spies.

I'm convinced they either dropped the First Order Spy on the Colossus plot or we're misconstruing what was said about it in the pilot episode or it became the pirate lady is a spy plot that we all knew about anyway (we DID get at least two spy plots in herein S1, just not someone on the Colossus is an FO spy. Unless that's a last second S1 cliffhanger).

 

It really is weird that they haven't talked about it since. It very well could have all just been an excuse to get Kaz on the plotform and at the end of the day it doesn't really matter. I'm still thinking it's Yeager though and if it is, we'll probably find out in the finale

 

Yeager and Tam were my top culprits but the last episode, Descent, seemed to knock them out of the equation.
