My favorite is Darth Traya. Who is yours?
Mine is Vestara Khai.
She is, indeed, interesting. I'm glad she wound up with Ben Skywalker for a time.
I think Kreia/Traya's misotheism and overall existential philosophy are intriguing. I don't agree with it, but it's a fascinating read.
I went with Darth Zannah she is very strong if you want examples just read the Darth Bane Trillogy.
I put Lumiya. Her character design is fascinating with lots of mystique. I feel that she could come back somehow in the new Marvel comics. Her introduction into the series was unique. Honestly, I still have a lot to learn about her. Issue #88 Figurehead is one of my favorites.
Darth Traya, one of the best SW characters in general. Still very sad she and the points she made where never really brought up again outside of KOTOR 2.
I agree, Anedon. She is one of the best Star Wars characters of all time.
I feel ya, 88. Darth Zannah is underrated. She was my favorite character in the Bane trilogy.
Btw, I asked Sinrebirth to correct my error in the poll. I intended to write that Vergere was the teacher "of Lumiya and Darth Caedus." Lol.
You should have included Darth Phobos and Mother Talzin in the poll.
Has to be Ventress, but I also like Trilla/Second Sister.
I like both versions of Ventress equally.
I agree Ventress is amazing as you read in Dark Desciple and Dooku Jedi Lost
Asajj is like a tragic, lost girl trying to find her way in the original EU, though she is also terrifying when she tortures others. She is analogous to a drug addict. As for the other version of Asajj, my favorite aspects of her character are found in Ahsoka's arc when the latter is falsely accused.
Easy - Darth Traya. My favorite Star Wars antagonist and without a doubt one of the very best characters in the franchise.
Zannah is someone who was "converted" for lack of a better term to the Sith. She is fully devoted to the Sith ideology, the rule of two, and the cause of bringing down the republic.
Her devotion to this cause is pretty much religious in nature. She loves power, and the sith are the path to power for her.
I introduced a good friend to Darth Zannah and her story. She was really intrigued and read the Darth Bane novels to find out more.
Darth Traya makes ya think, though.
Darth Zannah's spells could drive General Grievous and many other characters mad. She is not to be underestimated.
The Dark Lady of the Sith, Lumiya, should not be underestimated. And I imagine she could best many more people than Zannah.
It would be a tough battle that's for sure
In a way, Tahiri Veila. She is one of my favourite Star Wars characters, and favourite fictional characters at all, because I can identify with her a lot.
But, for me, she never was a Sith, because for me, the Sith really ended at Endor and the Star Wars timeline ends with the NJO anthology. I really really dislike all storylines and ideas which came after it.
I like Aurra Sing very much, but that probably has to do with my first impressions as a Star Wars fan. As a teenager, I collected and read the later renamed Republic comic series. In many of those comics, Sing is the main villain. Later, John Ostrander and Jan Duursema put her against Aayla Secura and I absolutely loved it!
I also like the republic comic with Sing and Aayla duking it out.
I go with the version of Barriss Offee as a Dark Jedi. She was warped, but she had a point.
