Discussions Who is your favorite female Sith/Dark Jedi?

Zannah is pretty much a realist. Lumiya seems to mix vindictiveness with amoral pragmatism. In contrast, Zannah mixes realism with her job, and she enjoys it in very human and patient way. She's more subtle than Bane is. I'd be really interested in a fan fic story of Zannah training Cognus. It'd be cool to see Zannah in her 40s or 60s as a Sith Master. I mean, Bane is often talked about as though he's all-powerful, but he does have his weaknesses. He was the beginning of his line, the one that led to Plagueis and Sidious. Therefore, Zannah and others had a lot to add to that legacy. I mean, Zananh's skills with infiltration were impressive. She's close to Mara Jade level in terms of skill. Additionally, the older I get, the more I admire her defensive style. Lastly, her belief that the subtle manipulations of the Force would be more long-lasting than overt domination is so true. Very clever.

 

You know, it would have been really interesting if the EU had proceeded a little differently. What if Lumiya had some interaction with Sidious after he was reborn in Dark Empire? What if he trained her further? What if he trained her instead of Vergere?

Despite this what-if conjecture, let me be clear. I like how both Lumiya and Vergere were portrayed in the Expanded Universe. Awesome characters.

Darth Maladi needs some love. She is a brilliant scientist and a tactical genius.

Maladi survived? I thought she was slain.

 

No, Darth Maladi escaped the custody of Imperial Knights and went into hiding with the One Sith. This after Darth Nihl assumed the mantle of Dark Lord, and he decreed that the Sith would wait in the shadows until the opportune moment to strike. So, he would be very beneficial for such a covert Sith Order, and I would argue that she would come up with the clandestine plan for the Sith to sow chaos and then re-emerge.

 

Thank you. Maladi was a great foil to Darth Talon, dark brains and dark beauty.

 

She also is one of those underestimated Sith scientists. While Darth Plagueis is a well-respected Sith scientist, I would argue that Darth Malak is also a Sith scientist due to his work with the Star Forge. Imagine if Darth Maladi had access to the Star Forge. She'd be havin' a good time.

 

Sith Science really gets demonized. They developed so many advances in medicine and tech, and the Jedi call it evil till they make copies of it in times of crises.

 

Imagining Darth Maladi, Darth Talon, Darth Traya, Darth Zannah, Lumiya, Visas Marr, Vestara Kahi, XoXaan, and the original EU Asajj Ventress working together would be a dream come true. Hehe.

 

I wish The Acolyte was Zannah and we were going to watch Bane and her instead of nobodies.

 

Psychologically, there is a lot to explore with both Darth Bane and Darth Zannah. Also, they are much rougher and Spartan, if you will, than the rather lavish and aristocratic Sith like Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious. Bane and Zannah also strike me as more mature and rational than Plagueis and Sidious. Having said that, I vehemently disagree with Bane's ridiculous notion that equality is a lie.

But, yeah. Darth Zannah would be the perfect character for a television show. It's similar to hw Gargoyles is essentially Disney's Game of Thrones and they're just sitting on it. Same with Lucasfilm and the old EU

 

Indeed and what did that lavishness get Palgueis and Sidious? Nothing. Plagueis died in his sleep and Palpatine despite all his machinations and aristocratic ploting ends up defeated.

I want to see Sith with grit, and that is Des and Zannah. Sith who don’t have anthems, but metal and rock blasting in their blood. Sith who take names and kick ashla.

 

Kick ashla. I like. Hehe. Plus, Darth Zannah infiltrated the Jedi Temple. That is no mean feat.

There's no denying that Lord Zannah was a master of the dark side. She's severely underrated. She could beat Grievous and Opponents Rancisis.

Her name is Shin Hati, and she to me feels like the closest thing we’ll get to a Zannah. Shin means “truth, belief, trust,” in Japanese. Which makes me think she might be redeemed at some point.

She’s gonna be my favorite character in Ahsoka, I can tell.

 

Fascinating. There was a great deal in that trailer. Another reason to enjoy August.
