Discussion Who Should Direct the Next/Future Star Wars Film(s)?

Does anyone else here see this happening? Just imagine an avengers - like SW action movie....

I’m imagining it right now and I think I’m gonna be sick.

 

Gonna hop in before the hype machine goes hard in a few weeks and once again lobby for J.J. Abrams' buddy Matt Reeves.

 

I think its impossible but for me my dream Star Wars director is Zack Snyder

 

Well, as much as I would thoroughly hate that, he's currently turning the Star Wars movie he pitched to Lucasfilm back in 2013 into an "original" movie for Netflix called Rebel Moon. It just started production a day or two ago, so you'll have that.

 

Let Bryce Dallas Howard a trilogy of movies or something with Filoni coming up with stories and ideas for her.

 

It'd be neat to see him do a Jedi/Sith film in the style of Man of Steel, combining the grandiose with the intimate and naturalistic.

 

The day I watch a Zach Snyder Star Wars movie is the day I ask for pineapple on my pizza.

I mean...I just think that kinda thinking is kinda gatekeeper and elitist

And I hate Zach Synder's work and I have issue with that kinda gatekeeper nature.

 

I don’t know what a gatekeeper is. But if it’s someone who expresses their opinion in a comically exaggerated way, and doesn’t insist that everyone agrees with him, then yup, that’s me!

 

Well if your being comedic...then you aren't a very good comedian then ;p

 

Funny or not, declaring Zach Snyder movies and pineapple on pizza to be equally grave offenses to human culture is clearly not…a serious attempt at “gatekeeping.”

 

One of them (pineapple on pizza, if done right) is good, IMO.

 

Pineapple on pizza is a war crime. Zack Snyder directing a Star Wars movie would be a Star War crime.
