Who should play the bounty hunter?

Yes this film is far off, but it’s fun to share what you all think would be the best actor to play him.

Me personally I want Morrison to do the voice.

 

He's done the voices for him in the video games, and the BF series is canon right? Only makes sense.

 

Depends on when it’s set. Morrison’s almost 60 now so that’d probably be too old for a post-ROTS pre-ANH film. But if it’s post-ROTJ pre-TFA then sign him the hell up.

 

As long as it's an actual Maori New Zealander.

 

Daniel Logan to play the physical role, Morrison to do the voice.

My sources indicate that there will be an announcement on casting soon from one of the most famous Kiwis there is. New Zealand's own Jermaine Clement will be Boba Fett!

In all seriousness... Manu Bennett feels like the best person to take on this role if the mask being off is going to be apart of it and you need that physical presence.

 

For the movie itself I would like a older Boba Fett let’s say around his 50s played by Morrison in body and voice and it be a flashback with a Maori playing the body and Morrison the voice again.

 

Bennet is Maori and has the presence and the voice is close enough to be a younger version and he balances solid enough acting with believable combat action with or without the mask on.

 

Wouldn't be a bad choice.

 

Well most of you know I've been campaigning for Manu Bennett to get the role since the film was first rumoured, years ago now. I seriously don't see any other contender, Logan couldn't carry a film, sad to say and Morrison's ok if he's playing a 60 year old Boba but again does he have the reputation to carry the film?

 

This is exactly how I feel. Just don’t have him take the helmet off, ever. I know we technically know what Fett look like, but I think it would feel wrong for adult Boba to ever take off the helmet. Put some spry, limber stunt man in the suit, have Morrison do the voice, and boom. Easy money.

 

I would expect that'll be a "Ray Park" type (or two) who can do all the actions and Tem Morrison will do the voice for the relative handful of lines that will be delivered.

Matt Damon only had 45 lines in the last Bourne movie!

I'd expect one scene at least with no helmet that will be TM de-aged with make-up and digital.

All dark and underlit with reflections.

The question is whether this would be in the new "Dark Times" era they are creating with R1 and Solo or post-ROTJ.

One of the great scenes in all of Star Wars.

He could be a years later post-ROTJ Fett but at that point then you might as well use TM outside of the suit.
