I like both teams. I think Yankee pitching will be the difference.

 

I'm a born and raised Florida boy.
Marlins did it before they can do it again.

On a personal note, I can't stomach baseball, not since the strike of 1994.

If the Empire is a metaphor for the Yankees, I wonder when Joe Torre is gonna toss Steinbrenner off the Brooklyn Bridge.

Well, I am hoping. I don't like the Yankees, but my respect for them couldn't get much higher - but damn I'm sick of them

Plus so far most of the people have picked the Florida Marlins to win.

So to recap my thoughts...
Florida Marlins to win, Yankees to suck A$$.

 

Florida has so much youth, and speed. Though Yankee's have the better "Starting" Rotation, their Relief is terrible, and could be the difference.

 

Yanks, hopefully. I loathe the Marlins, and this coming from a guy in Florida.

 

I'm going to *gasp* say the Yankees. I don't care if Florida beat the Yanks tonight. I don't care if they beat the heavily favored Giants and Cubs. I don't care how young and talented they are. They have no business even being in the playoffs, let alone the World Series.

The Yanks had better win quick. I just want this extremely disappointing series to be over in hurry.

And if the Marlins win, it's not like anyone's going to even notice.

my interest in the world series fall after cubs and red sox were eliminated
