Who would win in a fight? Count Dooku or Saruman the White?

Both are very powerful, cunning and played by Christopher Lee.

But which one would win in a straight death match?

 

Hmm because i was bored i actually had a thought about this....
Saruman is all powerful wizard with his white stick he curl whirl opponents up into towers and taunt them...But all Count Dooku would have to do is use a bit of force power and whip that stick out of his hands then do one of his cg flips and take surumans head off, cos once suruman looses that stick hes pretty useless!

 

That's good reasoning, but in FOTR, Saruman pulls the same trick to nick Gandalf's stick from him. Therefore Saruman could take Dooku's sabre. However, both disarmed i'd still give the edge to Dooku with the force lightning

 

dooku would win IMHO, force powers would overcome magic.

on a side note, when dooku does that flip off the balcony in ROTS, just before he takes on anakin and obi-wan, anyone notice that he makes a noise like a bat as he flips? is it just me or would it have been amusing if he actually changed into a bat mid-flip?

I think Saruman would win. All he would have to do is chop Dooku's hands off and he would be at his mercy.

I bet they are pretty equal where "force" powers are concerned though, in the sense of trying to pull the weapon away from the enemy.

I think you might be barking up the wrong tree with that one. I don't think Christopher Lee's Dracula ever changed into a bat, did he? I don't think that was quite in Hammer's budget.

I think it was just the sound of his cloak.

 

but how amusing would it be? listen to the sound effect when he does the flip...............

I think it's gotta be Dooku.

Principal reason: A Sith's Lightsaber would slice through Saruman's staff like a fat man would tear through a buffet offering. Game over.

Secondly: Saruman looks like the kind of white trash that I would(n't) give my spare change to, and deserves a beating down.

 

I agree: Dooku would win. All else fails, he could force-choke Saruman.

 

Yeah, but what if they have to send their armies against each other.

Out of Ork and Battle Droids, who would win??

 

You said Dooku vs. Saruman, not their armies.

Though if the armies fought, I don't know what ork would do, but the Orcs and Uruk-Hai would probably win.

 

the droids would roll up in their tanks and wipe the orcs out. no contest.
