Well, if you save Ani from the darkside you
save everyone else.
A more interesting storyline would have been to save
Padme and have her along with Ben and Luke go to face
Darth Vader. I'd love to see the reaction of Vader
seeing Padme again for the first time in 20 yrs.

 

I'd stop Anakin from killing Nute Gunray by sending in Droidekas. He's no match for Droidekas.

jango had already slain a jedi, and was on the verge of killing others, he had to go


and palpatine wasnt unarmed. he was faking not being able to throw out lightening, mace could sense this, and decided to take advantage of sidious' faux weakness by killing him.

and it wasnt a coup d'etat in the evil, dubious and traitorous way that you insinuate. he was doing it in order to save the republic from tyranny, as well as bring a traitor to justice. it was a no win situation for mace and his jedi bretheren.
