Naw...no camping and the like on this trip for me.

 

At least I got one chuckle out of it. I thought I'd get more...

Naw...actually you got at least two chuckles. My fiancee saw it first and had a kick out of it.

 

Been there, done that (at least the pulling a trailer part). We drove from California to Indianapolis non-stop pulling a 10 foot U-Haul trailer filled with gear for the 501st So Cal Garrison.

We basically only stopped for Gas (where normally did a "pit stop" for food and "potty breaks"). All in all it was about 40 hours straight through. While the trip to C2 was managable, the return trip was brutal. After working the con, we were dead tired, but we still needed to come back non-stop due to work schedules. Towards the end we were switching of every 30 minutes since we were so dead tired.

So for C3, "I leaving on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again .....".

It also wasn't just the traveling, it was buring the ton of vacation time just to get there and back.
