The deal won't close for roughly six months. That's the word from the board chair. I think he's a little bit better informed about it than the rest of us, so if you don't mind I'll take his word over someone else's.

I mean the deal is as good as done @Thena I doubt that’s gonna change. However anything Elon wants done won’t be implemented for 6 months. So we have 6 months before twitter becomes even worse

 

But I haven't argued that anything's going to change. It is very remotely possible, but highly unlikely. All I've said is that the deal hasn't closed yet. And that's perfectly factual, it's how deals like this always work.

 

This makes me curious of when the last time a 10 billion dollar plus deal like this didn’t happen and not because of any legal reasons. Like worry of being considered a monopoly. To the internet I go.

My other point is true. I very much worry what Twitter TOS will look like in 6 months. And that’s on top of twitter already sucking.

 

Twitter will become so bad that all blue checks and JKF leave twitter and join telegram.
