Surely it can't be too hard to come up with a vaccination against the crystal Kryptonite?

    It's radioactive.

That's like saying we should have vaccinations that protect us from nuclear weapons.

But it's only radioactive to Superman, who uses a yellow sun for his powers. It couldn't be too hard to break down the crystals and find out what makes them tick.

Maybe there is a cure, and that crummy Lex Luthor is keeping it from coming onto the market?

Because Superman is a drama queen like all other comic book characters.

It would be so much better if Superman was radioactive to Kryptonite, because we wouldn't have this silly problem.

Yeah, all the Kryptonite does is make him wacky. It doesn't turn him into some green monster.

Because Superman without the one weakness would be incommensurably boring...

I watched Smallville yesterday... For like the first time since after the third season. His dog's name is Krypto. Maybe the dog holds the key to making a Kryptonite vaccine.

Why haven't human beings become to bullets? *shrugs* You don't become immune to it. Plus, S is a pansy.

It's because of his drinking problem. It's obviously weakened his ability to form immunities.....

Give him a few decades, and he will.

In Kingdom Come (which takes place in the future),The Riddler asks why they don't just take him out with a bomb laced with Kryptonite, but Lex Luthor says it'd be a worthless endevour, becuase he's been exposed to the rays of our yellow sun for too long.

    ^That's pretty cool.

Can Supes be drunk? I thought that alchohol wouldn't have any effect on him? He doesn't seem to be affected by any other human form of drug.

Superman isn't immune to Kryptonite by now because Superman is a 10 year old prepubescent girl

Because if he was then the only person that would be able to stop would be Doomesday. He needs to have some kind of weakness.

Edit: I mean if you want we can make him just like Goku in DargonballZ. Then he would be so powerful that it would kill all Superman comics.

They did at one point have him way to powerful.

    Bullet proof vests?

Bullet proof vests are the equivelant of the cases in which Kryptonite can be carried without being harmed by the rays. Superman himself could build a suit of armor with such a material, encasing him and protecting him from the effects.

Also, I'd question whether a bullet proof vest is even an immunity. Its a source of protection, not immunity. If immunity is a manner of defense, then yes, Supes already is immune to Krpytonite, albeit not always, just as most human beings are not immune to bullets as they are not always wearing bullet proof vests.

Because if he was then the only person that would be able to stop would be Doomesday. He needs to have some kind of weakness.

Note: Thats not entirely true. All someone would have to do is drain him of the solar energy that has powered him or cause him to waste that same amount of energy (such as, say, exploding several nuclear bombs around him). Once drained of this energy, he would be quite vulnerable. Not to mention that events like Zero Hour proved that he is not invulnerable, with GL not even having Kryptonite he easily overpowers Supes.
