Will Blue ever win in a fight????

The blue lightsaber has never won a lightsaber fight. and it probally never will.

I think Anakin in the AvO duel, I believe anakin will use a green lightsaber. because red wouldn't show up very well in a red background.

I believe once again most of the duels will be the majority of.

Blue vs. Blue
Green vs. Blue
Green vs. Green
Green vs. Blue (again)

Well, the carbon freezing chamber in ESB is primarily a blue backround, yet that didn't prevent Luke from using a blue lightsaber.

I'm pretty sure Anakin will use a red lightsaber fighting Obi-Wan in the climactic duel, and blue will finally beat red.

I've always thought that Anakin and Obi would each use their blue sabers in their Episode 3 duel. Then, during that duel, Anakin drops his saber, and Obi picks it up and eventually gives it to Luke.

 

Blue vs blue would be too confusing for the audience to follow, and ugly looking (IMO). When Anakin gets kicked out of the Jedi order, he is forced to turn in his blue saber to Obi-Wan, and when he joins Sideous/Palpatine, he builds a new red Sith saber and uses it to fight Obi-Wan.

 

Maybe they don´t have their lightsaber ignited at the same time....

You obviously forgot about Grevious and his duel with Obi-wan.

No, Obi-Wan uses Qui-Gon's green saber to beat Maul.

 

Yeah, Maul knocks Obi's blue blade into the pit, then Obi picks up Qui-Gon's green saber to bisect Maul.

Then you didn't pay close enough attention. Replay the scene when Han finds Luke just after Luke see's Obi-Wan's apparition on Hoth.

 

When Han found Luke he used the lightsaber to cut open the tantan and put Luke inside to keep him warm.

 

Yes, Han indeed used a lightsaber. Now they even have a 'Hoth Han' action figure that comes with a saber.

Anyway - Apparently some people think this is pointless, but I think this is kinda interesting. I dont know much about symbolism using colors, but blue does keep losing. Never really thought about it that way before. Maybe its on purpose, maybe not.
But I think, In E3, that Blue will finally win a big one. Obi-Wan has always had blue, and I'm confident he'll win at least one big duel in E3.
But with horrifying consequences.
