Will Shrek 2 Outgross Episode I?

I saw Titanic and I like many others think it outright sucks ass. The idea was good but any movie that could easily bankroll a small country out of debt or even feed a nation is amazing. I wonder how many people could have been fed or educated with the kind of bankroll that movie had.

Of course WaterWorld was also a bad example of budget splurging.

I don't think Shrek 2 will outgross E1.

 

Shrek 2 currently has about $420 million domestically and it's still going. It's definately going to pass The Phantom Menace and E.T. at this point.

Again, I'm a bit dissapointed, but I won't lose sleep over this. It was only a matter of time before a new film passed The Phantom Menace. It's held it's title firmly for the last four years. It has to pass the torch to the green guy now

 

Come now, isn't worldwide much more important Being from outside of North America, I have no qualms about it. Personally the worldwide tally really counts
