JCC Will vegetarians become meat eaters?

Though I agree with this point, it's probably more relevant to ask whether the net environmental impact would be greater or lesser than the current impact of meat production, since factory farming is also massively damaging. The Amazon is being clear-cut to make way for the rearing of ever-greater numbers of cows; antibiotics are preemptively fed to large numbers of animals without infections, facilitating the development of antibiotic-resistant strains; corn and soybeans are overfarmed to feed livestock; and huge amounts of methane and pollutants from untreated manure enter the air and water.

 

There are different kinds of ways to cook veggies. A friend of mine went to culinary school and he can actually cook veggies on a high scale - he can make them taste delicious. Vegetarians can eat more than vegetables though; that's not all they eat. You also want to make sure you are getting the right nutrients in your body, so taking a class would be helpful.

Vegetables are the shrimp of the land. You can barbecue them, boil them, broil them, bake them, sautee them. There's, umm, vegetable kebabs, vegetable creole, vegetables gumbo, pan fried, deep fried, stir fried. There's pineapple vegetables and lemon vegetables, coconut vegetables, pepper vegetables, vegetable soup, vegetable stew, vegetables salad, vegetables and potatoes, vegetable burgers, vegetable sandwich... That's, that's about it.

 

But can you taste their suffering?

What would be awesome is if they could animate vegetables so we can have guilt free hunting.

 

They have animated veggies, but you have to eat certain kinds of mushrooms to see them.

 

Someday we're going to hang out and have a great time discussing all of our favorite forms of art and music and have one of those spiritual discussions I'm dying to have with you, man. When that time comes, I shall grill you a delicious lab-grown steak, butterflied and stuffed with Danish bleu cheese and portabello mushrooms. I'm positive we'll both find what we're looking for.
