I picked up the Collector's Tin of all three flicks as Best Buy on Tuesday and I'm glad I did. I refused to purchase the Special Editions from 04 cuz... well, I hate them. The classic versions on these discs look fantastic and were well worth the wait.

can we just talk for a second about how awful TF.n has become?

i realize we're AT TF.n and I'm sure someone will censor this, or jump in to defend them. but MAN, even as a lapdog of LFL, there's just not nearly as much get-up-and-go to the site.

i remember the "glory days" of the first two prequels--even still as an LFL lapdog, I'd check it several times a day. now I'm lucky if I see something I want to read once a week.

and there's just so much self-promotional garbage. blech.

man, it feels good to get that off my chest.

    I still haven't bought them.

    My love for TFN remains.

Now this really sucks, so I caved and ordered them through Overstock.com, well when I got them this week A New Hope and Jedi were fine but the hard plastic DVD case for Empire was sliced clean through. So now I have to return it and wait for a replacement making the pain of buying these movies again all the worse......

    3 movies from Netflix: $5.40
    3 blank Memorex DVD-RW's: $2.25
    3 printable DVD/CD Covers: $1.35
Not paying retail for movies I already bought seven-fold.......Priceless.

I really don't know if I want to fork away that money when you know it will be released again
