JCC [Will you Naruto run...to Area 51?] The Area 51 Raid discussion

Tl;dr a meme of invading Area 51 on September 21st to free or see aliens spread like wildfire to the point where it made news and even the military has responded to not try it.

A big meme now being an actual attempt at breaking in which could in turn cause a national crisis...and of course there will be those that try it.

Thing is, how many will actually try it? And how bad could it get?
I know it's the internet and not take it seriously, but you know some will try. I know it won't be millions, but a few hundred is a possiblity.

So arrests for sure, but actual fighting?

AREA 51 RAID UPDATE

So so far only 2 guys got arrested for when they tried going to Area 51 a few days ago but other than that nothing so far. People are arriving but to the local areas. I guess music concerts and festivals got promoted to come to instead especially after the original organizer of the event renounced the idea. But we will see as the weekend unfolds.

Although, I've seen plenty of social media promoting this day and event. The braves had their mascot Blooper "find" Astro the Astros mascot. The Navu even said UFO's are real, but I find that suspicious considering they announce it within the days of this. It's like they want to troll the Air Force I think.

It’s like they’re not even committed to the bit - an actual Naruto run would drag this terrible arc out for five years, and only one major character would die despite the allegedly high stakes.

 

Multiple Darwin awards could have been handed out this weekend.

 

I had to spend some time googling Naruto run, etc. anyway. People did sort of hang out at 3 AM, seemingly peaceful assembly with funny meme signs (don't know what's up with the North Korea flag, though)
