Heh, funny (to my mind) idea: naming five OC's Candles, Holiday, Reunion, Gifts and Light. They're all there!

Oh come on, not fair! I want to play!



3PO: Welcome home, Master Skywalker! Oh my! I see you've brought some new friends with you.

Luke: Yes I have. I have brought Light, Candles, and Gifts.

(3PO looking VERY confused): I am sorry, sir, but I fail to see that any of these individuals are bearing gifts- nor do I see any lit candles.

Luke: No, that is their names, 3PO.

3PO: I don't understand. I'm so confused.

Luke: Please take Holiday's coat, and I'd like to share a cup of tea with Reunion.

3PO: Excuse me Master Skywalker, but I fail to see why you think that cloak is a holiday cloak, it looks like your ordinary Jedi robe to me.

(Luke sighs and rolls eyes Again, it's their names 3PO.

3PO: Their names? What are their names? You have failed to introduce any of these guests to me, Master, which I may add is a fact that I find very rude and very unlike you, Sir.

Gifts lifts eyebrows at Luke: Shall I?

Luke: Yes, please do. Sorry, Threepio.

3PO: Sorry for what Master Skywalllkkk.... (eyes go dark as Reunion shuts his power down.)

Light proclaims: Ahhhh silence the greatest gift of all!

All nod their heads, smiling and then collectively laugh in agreement.

Slapping Reunion on the shoulder, Luke says, "Reunion, lets go Light some Candles and pass out our gifts!"

Light, Candles, and Gifts all stare on in utter horror.

Gifts: I am NOT some trivial thing to be passed around!

Candles( throwing hands protectively over top of head)and wails: How many times do I have to ask people to stop trying to light me on fire?

Light yells: And I'm tired of everyone thinking that I can make fire just magically appear out of thin air!

Groaning, Luke mutters: Well this little holiday reunion seems to have become a bad idea.

Holiday and Reunion look terribly offended. Holiday fumes: Well I NEVER.
(Holiday heads for door.)

Sniffing, Reunion throws back her head and declares: Come on Light Gifts Candles, make like Holiday and let's leave this place.

Before Luke can utter a word of protest, they all vacate his apartment in a huff.

Sighing, Luke throws on 3PO's switch to reactivate him.

Looking around confused, 3PO asks: Where did everyone go?

Luke, sulkily: Don't ask.

3PO asks: Would you still like a cup of tea, or me to light some candles and bring you some gifts?

Emitting a loud scream of annoyance, Luke picks 3PO up w/ the Force and flings him across the room and shuts himself off into his bedroom.

From his dented pile of broken parts, 3PO moans: I guess that would be a no.

Lucas/Jackson indeed, with one exception... the stories are getting progressively SHORTER. "Home for the Holidays" was nine posts, "Hope to Those Who Have None" is shaping up for six, and "This New Year's Eve" shall have, in all probability, only three...

 

I'm done.

 

Good lord you lot are prolific at this time of year! Does that make it twenty stories entered, or twenty-one, now?

A reminder to all entrants to do as Gandolf has done and inform us when your story is complete, so we know to go have a look!

Okay, only a week after finishing Home for the Holidays, Hope to Those Who Have None is complete at six posts.

Now on to This New Year's Eve, the return of the Kameer Orthodoxy, the celebration of Svazdipir, and my absolute favorite character from H4tH...

 

A little late, but I've started by own holiday fic. It's basically Han/Leia, with baby Jaina and Jacen, too.

And I had no idea what to call it, heh heh.

A Very Solo Holiday

Here's my contribution!

It's about several OC characters, just so you all know.

 

Here's my plot bunny for the contest. It
takes place on the home planet of Yoda, in his family hut. His mother Yarna has fixed dinner, for their annual solstice celebration. However, as their race is being threatened by a race of giants, the mood is low key. They have sent out a plea for help, and Yarna hopes it will be answered. The candle she lights serves to guide the two weary jedi knights who have been dispatched
by the council to check out the problem.

They will soon discover a precocious child, Yoda and give him a little gift...
