THE CLOCK IS TICKING, my friends! Only 3 1/2 days left! Remember, your story must be complete by midnight Dec. 31 (board time). So before you get the champagne & smoochies to celebrate New Year's, get your posts in.

I've got the following entries listed as still in progress:

    InyriForge, "Christmas at Wedge's"
    Kettch_the_Jedi, "Galaxy Life Day"
    Jodiwent, ?Candles in the Windows?
    NarundiJedi, ?A Very Narundi Holiday?
    JainaJag, ?The Return?
    MoonChild, ?The NJO Christmas Week?
    Jaina_and_Jag, ?A Very Cold Christmas?
    Knight_Ander, ?More than a Velleity?
    red_rose_knight, ?A Gift of Warmth?
    Kathryn, ?The Light will Come?

Paddy Juan, ?To Find the Light?
    jags_gurl, ?A Winter Holiday Carol?
    puggy, ?A Very Solo Holiday?
    Lt._Jaina_Solo, ?Acceptance?
Darth_Tim, ?To Shine against the Darkness?
anakin_girl, ?A Tatooine Holiday? (though she said it should be done soon)

If I'm missing anyone, please let me know. Ty-Gon, I never saw a link or an official 3rd entry for you? Do you want to just post it without entering it?

I am amazed and delighted by the turnout, and by the creativity and interpretation I've seen. I'm holding off my comments until the contest over, but I've got to say... WOW!!! So those of you who are still finishing up, as a reader, I have to say, please hurry, because I want to know what happens next! [face_love]

OK, I am REALLY hoping I have done this correctly, but it's my first time posting here, so give me a minute to borrow a clue.

Posted a story in Beyond the Saga for this exercise.

Ok I am officially terrified. I have begun posting with only about half the second post written (eep!) and while I know where it will end up (and, as usual, have the last seven to ten lines already written...) I am not certain how we are getting there. Add in that I am writing Anakin and well.... <buries head under covers>

So first post up now. Second will be up sometime tomorrow and whatever it takes to finish sometime on Wednesday.

    Thank you, everyone!

WOW, KD, you haven't left yourself much time! I'll look forward to seeing the rest of it.

Midnight Wednesday, my friends! And in the cold light of the New Year, the weary judges will emerge from the glow of their celebrations and start scoring... :)

    "That's it! I'm spent."

THE HOPE FOR THE HOLIDAYS TRILOGY IS COMPLETE; THE LAST POST HAS GONE UP ON THIS NEW YEAR'S EVE.

    Woohoo! :D ;) :p

Hey Darth Tim, if I can finish in time so can you. Get those fingers typing.

Actually I have an important question... <voice_plaintive>Midnight where?<v_p> I'm guessing US Pacific time based on the time people I know to be on the East Coast of the US have their posts tagged. But for all I know they are just early birds (worms - ugh - why would you want to be an early bird?) so I'm just panicking here because work is going to suck up the entire day. (Why do things always go wrong when I want to skive off?)

I'd like to claim that I did it on purpose because I thrive under pressure. Oh, heck, I will claim that...

Second post is up btw, and I will get it finished and a third post up before midnight as long as it is US Pacific time. And maybe even if it is US Eastern as long as I know...

It's midnight board time that it needs to be finished by, which is Pacific time. ;)

Yup, KD, it's midnight Pacific Time. It's not just for updating; if you look at the header for each post, there's a time there, and it's always a few hours behind the time I actually posted -- so there's got to be a time zone difference. I'm guessing TF.N is run off of the west coast of the US.

The restriction is midnight board time, so, yes, it's midnight Pacific.

I just avoided the whole thing and finished This New Year's Eve last night. The last post is actually a little shorter than I would have liked, but my massive middle post makes up for it. :)

Yes, it's midnight Pacific Time (I think the "Boards" live in California somewhere...)

Even if you don't have it done in time for judging, Tim, post the ending anyway when you get a chance. I only had the opportunity to glance at the first post, but it seemed very promising.

    Still pending:

    InyriForge ?Christmas at Wedge?s?
    Kettch_the_Jedi, ?Galaxy Life Day?
    JainaJag, ?The Return?
    MoonChild, ?The NJO Christmas Week?
    Knight_Ander, ?More than a Velleity?
    Kathryn, ?The Light will Come?
    jags_gurl, ?A Winter Holiday Carol?
Wedge_Antilles_Cmdr, ?Solstice: A Time for Renewal?
    puggy, ?A Very Solo Holiday?
Darth_Tim, ?To Shine against the Darkness?
    Knight Dilettante, ?Remembrance Night?

Oh, and we are now officially closed re: new entries. :) We're clocked in at 31.

OK, I'm done. The formatting seems to be still messed up a bit but I have half my New Years Eve party guests waiting for me downstairs so I had to give up. I'll clean it up in editing down the road.
