SWC Would you be a Jedi or a Sith?

If you lived in SW world in the Old Republic Era, would you be a Jedi or a Sith?

Just remember that as a Jedi you have to respond to the council and you are forbidden to do a lot of thing, including to have a relationship. But you don't have to worry about being killed by your friends.

As a sith, you are free to do whatever you want, you don't have to supress your emotions and you can seek power, but you are surrounded by evil people who might want to kill you and that will do things that you may not aprove.

So, would you join the Empire or the Republic? Please, post why!!

Jedi of course. Sith don't get to do what they want, they have an evil code to follow like the Jedi have a good guy code. Also, essentially, the Darkside eats you and you are angry all the damned time. Screw that. I do like Sith attire though, and I look good in black. But I'd still be a Jedi.

 

Oh, and BTW. If you are a Jedi, you can get trained, learn the Force etc, then leave if you want. Sith? Yeah, try and leave and your one fo two will come head hunting for you.

 

I would be a Jedi, though one more like Qui-Gon. I could never be a Sith(cool, you get to use emotions, but you also never really have friendship), but I'd probably give the Council major headaches.

They don't have an evil code to follow, and they don't have to be angry all the time. They just fuel they power with powerfull emotions like that. There are a lot of Sith lord that wasnt affected by the dark side. But I agree that if you don't obey the jedi council you will be expelled, while if you don't obey the sith dark lords, you will be dead...

I'd be a mix of both. The Jedi are wrong on a lot of things but i wouldn't be as vicious as the sith are.

I would join the Jedi - there just seems more room for progression without risk of death!

It seems a far more "dedicated" Order to follow but something about the side of righteousness is appealing, thanks to Obi-Wan Kenobi selling it in the Prequel Trilogy.

 

People saying that wouldn't join neither, please, pretend that you must choose one, even that you may not follow all the order's dogmas, how would you deal with the chosen order's problems?

 

I would be a civil Sith. Sith don't have to be 'evil' it is simply the way most choose to see them.

 

Not that we ever agree on anything or have to, but would you clarify what you mean? Am I right in guessing that in your opinion good and evil or right and wrong don't exist? I'm not trying to pick a fight, just seeking understanding.
